First fight I remember being real excited for was the Bowe-Holyfield rematch. I watched boxing with my step dad before then, but that fight had me hooked.

First fight i ever saw was Hagler vs Duran and I remember the next door neighbor came to the house to see the fight on HBO. Wasent a fan back than and just liked the ROcky movies. Would also watch replays of Leonard vs Hearns which would get replayed alot.

Become a fan of only the HW division in the late 1980's and SRL when he came back to fight Lalonde for the SMW and LHW titles. Saw Jones Jr live on the 1988 olympics get robbed of a Gold Medal by a Korean fighter- in Seoul South Korea- What a coincidence?

In the early 1990's i followed both Jones Jr and DLH and i guess became a real fan of all divisions. Having access to PPV since 1997-2005 also helped since i got to see all those fights for free.

The Chirs Byrd vs Oquendo horrible decision, and the 2nd Barrera- Morales bad decision did leave a bad taste and i stopped watching for a while but obviously came back.

Just a bit over 40 years for me. When i was 12, i was at my local ballpark, which serves as a platform for other things, such as drum corps competitions and other stuff. 1 night i was down there with a gang of friends, and there was a big boxing match going on. I was told it was Cassius Clay and i forgot the other guys name.

I don't know if it was really him, but it probably was...he was just starting out then, and also on an unrelated event, around that same time, an older friend of mine told me he saw Jimi Hendrix at our local boy's club. He was also just starting out and was a nobody then.

Who would have thought these 2 people would grow to become the greatest of their time?

legitimately started watching in like 04, I wanted to know who teh hardest puncher in boxing was p4p and googled it and Manny Pacquiao came up (not even joking) So ive been watching him since 04 since I thought he kicked ass.

Explains why my boxing knowledge ****** big time when i first joined and I got flamed by all the peeps in the history section that know more than me.

Also, boxing has been in my family for a long time though, so I knew about boxing beforehand as well.
