Larry Merchant is an idiot who hates Mayweather as much as the haters on this site, if not more. This man has never has anything positive to say about Mayweather. He has picked and rooted against Mayweather in every fight he has had since the Gatti fight and is always critical when he comments on a Mayweather fight. That is why I hate to see him calling any fight that involves Mayweather. His opinion means nothing and is such as waste of time that I did not bother reading the entire article.

I kind of agree with what Merchant is saying. Everybody says that for 40 million Pac should agree to all the blood testing in the world. If we put the shoe on the other foot for 40 million May should be willing to fight the roided up Russian from Rocky. May has been ducking fighters for the longest so naturally this seems to be another ploy to not risk his zero.

Larry hit the nail on the head. It seems that Floyd is scared of possibly losing his precious '0' by facing Pac. Hence, all these demands for blood tests.

Larry Merchant: Again, from things that he's said in the past, to him, losing is worse than death because he's wrapped his identity up so much in the idea of not losing the fight. He's used that to try to deflect all of the criticism that has come his way from the boxing world and in the boxing media that he has avoided all of the real top welterweights to fight smaller guys.
