    Mayweather shook, i think not

This fight will happen whether Manny is juiced or not. But let's not act like Manny is winning these fights on pure talent alone. This guy comes from being 130 -135 a year and a bhhalf ago to knocking out full blown Welterweights not out quicking them but demolishing tthem which is something he wasn't even doing in the Lighter weights and there's no su****ion? You've gotta be kidding me. From Marion Jones to Barry Bonds to A-Rod every athelete that's been performing ungodly feats have been caught cheating. I think Mayweather is well advised to demand these tests, and I hate needles too, but you better believe I would take whatever tests they want if I was Manny so when I win all you could say is I'm the greatest!! I damn sure wouldn't be protesting, I mean if I'm clean who gives a ****!! Oh to Larrys point that Mayweather is scared he may lose, you damn right after what happened with Margarito and with Shane never testing positive after beating Oscar twice yet later admitting he "accidentally was juiced" you damn right after all the blood sweat and tears he scared of having that 0 on his record taken away by someone who had to cheat to do it.

I thought Marquez clearly won two rounds. There were 2-4 rounds that were very close and if Floyd didn't have the grand reputation he has, which causes every thing close to be tilted in his direction, could have gone to Marquez. I thought Floyd won but it wasn't nearly as dominant a win as the adoring Floyd fans proclaimed it to be, Floyd mostly threw left jabs, which missed or were glancing shots. Threw at the most 1-2 punches.

Floyd did land a handful of solid blows, did get a clean knockdown. I never felt that Marquez was really hurt in the fight even though I definitely thought Floyd wanted to knock him out. Even though Marquez was smallish looking in comparison to Floyd, Floyd often fought defensively and looked worried about getting hit. It was not a particularly exciting fight, as I think most of Floyd's fights aren't. I think Floyd is somewhat overrated, but is a good talent.

There is no way that off that kind of performance, and his other most recent ones against DelaHoya and Baldomir that anybody but a Floyd nuthugger would think he will dominate Pacman. Floyd is afraid of taking a lot of punishment in a fight. Mostly I think he is afraid of the hit his ego would take. That after all the boasting and posturing about his greatness, a loss would would take a lot of the glitter away from the boasting he does.

I personally don't care if he fights. Most of his fights are disappointing in terms of their excitement. I mostly just want him to face a real threat in the ring.

The commentators and media (especially brian kenny) raved a bit too hard. But the reality is floyd beat JMM with his C game.....Floyd has admitted as much. But JMM did not win a round and def not as much as 4 like you have said. Your attempt to say otherwise is revisionist history....it was a complete shut out.

The fact Floyd can beat JMM with his C level game should worry Pacman. If floyd shows up on fight night with Pac as the "pretty boy" i.e. the floyd who showed up against gatti, corrales etc. Pac will be in trouble.

You are right about one thing though. Floyd was rust against JMM and he can't afford to be against Pac.

          Larry Merchant is correct.

The way the mayweather camp now are saying even after the suit, they are still hopeful of the fight. They are dangling the argument on why would manny turn away this megafight and highest pay fight ever to fight yuri foreman.

The way I analyze it, they are desperate of the fight going to happen by indirectly saying to pacman, cmon you fight floyd its the richest fight ever but they said at the same time, you have to undergo random blood testing.

They are really weird. I didnt get their logic. NOw I say, To the mayweather camp, you fight pacman in the courts. In the ring, Look for other fights. Pacman has his eyes now on yuri foreman now. End of the story.

That's the logical alternative, Pac v Yuri for JMW title! On the other hand, Floyd will fight Mathew Hatton???? understably... but I think they should bring Bobby Pacquiao for Floyd so he would be relieved of his fear of losing, and he will surely won't demand for this Olympic stayle blood testing!!! And at the end, he will boast beating Pacquiao! in the person of Bobby though.. But I hope Bobby would kick his ass too to make the ending interesting and funny!

Again, PBF knows that Pac is better by a long way than Castillo, who gave PBF problems big time.

He dont think he can beat Pac on this basis.

Anybody who watches HBO Broadcasts know Larry has a strong dislike for Floyd.

Larry is just being Larry.. He has always hated on Mayweather, as he does on most black fighters.. He is drunk half the time, doesnt really appreciate technical skills, he just wants to see knockouts and brain damaged boxers.. No one should be surprised by his comments, he loves him some manny pacquiao he basically sucks him off everytime he fights
I believe too that Floyd rose from retirement to fight Pac and he would expect to win and for big payday! But not when he watched before his eyes while Pac beating a legit welter Cotto.. nothing the same after that and worse, he aggravated the situation after finding a way out from facing Pac in his insistence of this Olympic style random blood tests! Viva Floyd!!!

Many of the boxing fans are thinking this way.

                    Larry Merchant is right.

Is this the same Larry Merchant that does every commentary
s#it faced drunk and spews out random craziness? Mayweather
does like being undefeated but doubt he has any fear in fighting
Pacquiao because the doubt has been coming from Roach by
saying Pacquiao has to change his style up and Floyd is different
from all of his previous opponents that Pac blew out. Don't see
why people would think Floyd is scared of Pac when Freddie has
gone on record and said Mayweather is a problem for Pac.
