    I hope this fight happens.

Maidana is a real test for Khan considering his power and durability.

      WAR KHAN !!

That isnt a good reason because HBO wants the fight and when you have a big TV network interested in a fight like that then the fight has all it need to be made...No excuse

This would be interesting. I have only seen Maidana against Ortiz so i dont know if he is really as good as people say he is. Is his KO percentage overrated? who has he fought at world level apart from kotelnik who took him the distance and Ortiz.
As for Khan, his only let down is his punch resistance. Apart from that hes great all round. He has great skills, power and speed.
If this fight is made i will go with Khan unless Maidana lives up to the hype.

This is what some dumb "Boxing fans" dont realise yet, When you're a draw you look for the biggest money fight along with less risk, While the guys looking in from the outside would fight anyone because they want to get in.

Whether Khan has fought anyone or not and whether he doesnt deserve his reputation or not the Man is a "Draw" period.

There's a chance he might end up the same as Prescott - a fighter with a huge KO percentage built up in his homeland, and gets humiliated by the first tricky opponent put in front of him (Vazquez), then trounced some more by a fighter more closer to world-class level (Mitchell).

Also, Maidana's chin isn't exactly granite either.

                2. He's a titlist, not a champion.

bla bla bla, what a road of rubbish, Fact is he is aworld champion, the record books will alwasy state that so get of your high horse.

                3. His record for his age is decent, as a record for a title holder it ****ing sucks.

are you really that ****** or just born that way? he has only just became a world champion and his first defence was a mandotary.

                4. "loads" is quite the overstatement. One could also counter by brining up his disservice to the community through his driving altercations.

opening up a million dollar gym in his home town vertually free for all was very generous of him. He does tons and tons of charity work which you dont even know about.

                5. He doesn't really have that big of a fan base to be frank. Most of the people who attend his fights are casuals who buy into the marketing, i've seen it first hand; people who know **** all about boxing but go, thinking he's the next Tyson, cause they don't know otherwise.
he doesnt have a that big of a fan base? hmm ok what ever you say. the fact that the majortiy of his fights are a sell out say otherwsie. casual fans are still fans.

bottom line, you are full of ****

Khan will have to make a big decision. He will either defend his title against one of the most dangerous punchers at the weight in Maidana, or vacate the title to take a fight with less danger but bigger dollar signs. HBO is very interested in a Khan-Maidana fight. [Click Here To Read More]
