It was a mess. The only consolation they have is that the Mayweather's are known drug abusers, which in the long run makes their case easier.
can you prove that the Mayweather's are drug abusers?

Go ask em. They're not shy about it.

You could look up the City of Grand Rapids Court records if you really wanted to verify.

One only has to look at their criminal past. Mayweather jr himself, I doubt was ever, since he disowned Sr for dealing.

You could have the best handlers in the boxing world and still would not know how to handle something that is considered to be an unprecedented move in boxing history.

The FM camp should have set the conditions first before the date. It just exacerbated the whole controversy. It almost seem like a chess game wherein you move one piece after another, except that in chess you know that there are plenty more moves to come. No doubt that the March 13 date challenge by the FM camp was a mere bluff that was expected to be turned down by Manny knowing full well that he was deep into Philippine politics, not to mention his inclination to set aside boxing for at least a year.

Setting a date that early is something uncharacteristic in boxing unless you're desperate enough to really want the fight to happen... Purse split was agreed upon, weight, boxing gloves, then bam a surprise move that would make Bobby Fisher scrambling for ways to get out of it. It's an unorthodox move.

None of those. Simply put, he was outdoing Floyd. That's it. Sr noticed that Manny was doing things that Floyd couldn't do, so his natural reaction was to think he must be cheating.

I think Pacman handled it well!!Pacman shouldn't have to jump through hurdles to fight anyone!!He's now a welterweight champion,he's never tested positive for any banned substances & has every right to take offense to being called a cheater, especially when there isn't a hint of evidence of such accusations!!Personally,I believe that golden boy & floyd tried to make this out like wrestling, trying to make a show of the sport,**** that, this is boxing, fight or kick rocks!!

No. Bob Arum fcked this up. From the excuses to 30 day cut off.. that was all Bob Arum's fault.

Basically the way I feel is that Pac's team and even his own publicity statements make him look guilty even if he isn't.

But other fighters should jump through hurdles to fight him. Pacquiao is the one fighter I am aware of that has more pre fight stipulations than any fighter in the modern era. He and Freddie Roach are always asking for something to hamper the ability of the opponent. And I'm not even going to list them cause we already know what they are. IF this was Sugar Ray Leonard back in the 80s asking for ring, gloves, catchweights, etc... he'd be crucified and his victories such as those over Hagler and Lalonde would be criticized by those that claim he got the best of the negotiations.
