You do know that not all people age the same, whether it be genes, lifestyle, environment, or a combination, right?

Bhop didn't start boxing until he was over 20 and at the time he fought Jones he didn't have like 45 pro fights either.

Obviously i know everyone has different prime years and i didnt mean kessler would be very good at age 45 or even fighting beyond 40 i used hopkins as an example because people are saying kessler is finished and they are basing it on the fact that kessler is getting old in the sport which i feel is ridiculous

As i said to the poster above im using hopkins as an example of age not being important all the time because i have seen people saying that he is getting on

Age is important but other factors contributed to Hopkins longevity, you can't use one very rare example as a strong argument against Kessler's downslide that he most likely will be on.

Kessler: Former WBA super middleweight champ Mikkel Kessler has dropped trainer Ricard Olsen, who have been with Mikkel since his very first day at the CIK gym in Copenhagen. It will now be Jimmy Montoya that takes over as head coach. Olsen was widely critizised for Kesslerīs poor performance against Andre Ward but itīs an open question if the trainer was to blame for the way Mikkel fought. Kessler face WBC champ Carl Froch on April 17 in the second round of the Super Six Tournament.

Is the Kessler clip if someone is too sloppy to open the link.

I think it's about 5-8 years too late to bring in a new trainer for Mikkel Kessler. Don't worry, he's still my danish idol. But seriously. Mikkel Kessler is so European schooled, that it's too late to teach him how to box otherwise now. Richard is a good trainer, but he just couldn't teach Mikkel more the later years of his career. Emanuel Steward would have been a good choice for about 5 years ago.
