Salgado has very good boxing skills, tall, fast, good jab and hooks and nice ring walking. He trains at Romanza Gym (Same as JMM) property of Don Nacho Beristain, and combine his training with high montain phisical strenght. This fighter is a disciplined and focused guy, think he will KO Uchiyama with not to much trouble..
Hero Bando, another japanese almost KOed Ichiyama in their bout.. Finally Uchiyama Won.

He has skills no doubt, but he 'dont' have a chin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has never been tested because they are always throwing tomato cans his way.
Thats how they do it in Japan. Hasegawa is another prime example of living under a false sense of boxing security, they dont give him real fights, the Japanese are always trying to look strong. Uchiyama is a fine counter puncher and extremely fine body puncher, but he lacks movement, where is speed ends his power begins. Salgado has a real good chance of winning this if he connects to that jaw. He doesnt want to pin Uchiyama against the ropes, he wants to keep him in the middle of the ring and counter Uchiyama's counters. Uchiyama aint got no jaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Bando Hero almost KOd Uchiyama , but he was saved by the bell, plus Uchiyamas trainer , which was my trainer at the time jumped in the ring and save him from falling back to the ropes. Uchiyama aint got no chin!!!!!!!!!!!!!
