This seems more of a racial hate thing than anything as far as a lot of fans go. My thing is why sue when you can take the test and get pay back in a brutal fashion possibly.

If I was Floyd I wouldn't even want this fight anymore. I'd apologize and move on. This whole thing has gone far past anyone's expectations and it's just sad. Manny had a squeaky clean image and now not so much but while you'd expect Floyd to get hood on him nobody would actually expect one boxer to sue another over promotional tactics.

Asking for a clean fight is one of the few descent things Floyd is now known for. Avoiding drug testing will follow Manny forever in the minds of many.
I wouldn't put too much in the lawsuit, it can be dropped anytime. I really want to see the fight - win, lose or draw. If the world was simple, whoever wins will be given their due props. Over in the real world, who knows? LOL.

Sadly, we have to see a flaming war between extreme fans of both fighters over who is to blame for the fight not happening instead of enjoying the fight itself.

The bolded part may just start one in your thread bro.

    Peace and happy new year.

I may be a dumb ass but if Manny was clean the allegations should have been taken as a compliment not grounds to sue.
if youre an american thatll suit you but the thing is pacmans action is a culture thing. hes filipino, accept it or not its that what it is, either you respect it or you arrogantly force your belief. boxing is not only american, its global i know youll get what im trying to say. therell be nothing to argue about if only team mayweather practice respect. there are ways to negotiate what mayweather wanted but apparently they blundered. the push became a shove, they cannot blame pacman if he pushes back and pushes hard.

If it weren't for the conniving minds of Mayweather and Associates, this whole controversy regarding the Pacman would not have hindered this fight from ever taking place. Thanks to their "Smear Campaign," boxing fans are left out in the cold, angry, frustrated and fuming mad at their callous actions. JAT

i dont think so, public opinion on mayweathers will not change easily, pacquiao can always have random testing in his succeeding fights telling he did not only bowed to floyds whim.

it is seriously hurting manny's image. and if you think that it is not ground to sue then maybe just pause for a moment...what would you do if someone accuses you of being a *****phile, no evidence provided, someone is just out to ruin you because of your success and you are now facing the thought of losing your job, losing your family and friends, being listed in the sex offenders list and a stigma will be forever attached to your name?
I see you point and I agree I just think suing as a boxer looks equally bad to the people who believe the PED's allegations.
As a common business guy I would sue but as a " Clean " boxer I would take the test and run to the ring with bad intentions.
Just my opinion but I'm glad you came with an appropriate response.

I just look at boxing with a " Macho " mentality and suing isn't Macho however, Manny's image has been ****ed a bit.

I don't know if he has enough of a case to sue but I really don't think it's necessary when you can legally ko the guy and get praised for it.
If Manny test clean and wins I think the slate will be wiped clean, buut this is Mayweather so the pressure of losing is much greater than before.

Yeah ! I could argue but that 's not the point.

I feel what your saying on a universal scale, but maybe he should have sued immediately after the fight either way it went.......what do you think ?

There was a question sometime ago about how long Pac's money will last him well I think this lawsuit that he filed will cost him a lot if not all of his winnings. Somebody must have told him to file the case. If you listen to Pac on TV interviews you might say he's not capable of making such a decision to sue somebody or anybody.

You guy's want to know why Pac wins his fights? It is because he follows EVERYTHING Roach and Ariza says, everything!!! Have you guys noticed that it was Roach who reacted first in this olympic style drug test. If Roach and Ariza were to tell Pac that blood test will make him stronger Pac would really believe so. Try to compare Pac's "official" statements on paper and his TV interviews, it is apparent that his official statements on paper is written by another person. Pac is not the one who is refusing the random blood test, those in his team are. Both Pac and Floyd are now victims of this mess........

Now this is interesting because I have not heard much from Floyd himself nor Pac yet a lot of **** is going on right now. I want to see what others have to say about this.

Totally support the lawsuits. Unsportsman like conduct should be dealt accordingly. Accussing the #1 P4P "dirty" without evidence in a pre fight negotiations is not a norm in boxing. These defendans are bullies, unprofessional, vulgar and disrespectful. When you accused somebody to
tarnish his image is not right.

If you let this go unpunished then you have a problem. Can you imagine that at any day someone can accused you of being a "rapist", "Child ******er", a thief, "murderer" and then ask you to prove yourself innocent. Yeah, prove it. Prove to me that you are not rapist, child ******er, a thief, murderer. Is that clear enough for you? You can envy and be jealous of somebody but this is not the way to handle. You need proof before you accuse someone.

This mess was created by the defendants and its not good for boxing.
