An Article I just read about Manny...

Thanks for the answer, looking back, that was a major brain freeze on my part. They can still fight but it couldn't be for the ABC title at welterweight. So the overweight penalty only serves to ensure a welterweight fight between the boxers in this case (unless someone wants to pay the penalty for a weight advantage). Got it, carry on then ...they could still fight. However, Freddie Roach claimed that they would not go through with the fight if Mayweather came in over the limit. The point is asking for a penalty like that is as outrageous as Mayweather asking for random blood tests, but none of the Pac worshippers on this site had anything negative to say about that stipulation.Comment

This is one of the realest post that I have seen in a while. His honor, pride and dignity didn't stop him from asking Cotto to come down to 145 pounds to fight for Cotto's championship. It also didn't stop him from demanding a $10 million penalty for every pound over the limit in the Mayweather fight. And it didn't stop him from cheating on his wife. The only time honor, pride and dignity has been an issue in the last few years is when Mayweather asked him to take random blood tests to make sure both are clean.Comment

This is like the 50th time I see this garbage, veiled racist crap...
I, for one, resent being told that us Americans are for sale and would sell out our principles for cash...that we come from a culture that is bought and sold and the Philippines, in contrast, are these benevolent beings...enough.
Most Americans who come out against Pacquiao aren't doing so because of the money involved...They're angry because the Fight of the Millennium is being called off due to what would end up being a minor inconvenience to Manny...
Per USADA rules (from their own quarterly newsletter), only about a half tablespoon would be taken, total and there would likely be only 2 blood tests within 30 days of the fight...Manny would likely shed more blood in a sparring session than what would be asked of him.
You used the example of Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powell....
Why would a Jamaican be tested by the UNITED STATES Anti-doping agency?
Actually, in Powell's case, he agreed to voluntarily take part in an anti-doping project sponsored by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) so he was tested double the normal amount by the IOC and the IAAF...
You can write what you like and believe what you want, but could the Pacquiao fans stop insulting American culture in their defense of a man who has already proven himself to be an untrustworthy husband and business partner (just ask his wife and Golden Boy, respectively)?.

These excuses are just pathetic. When all this bull**** came out I thought Mayweather has some balls Í thought that Pac was just playing hardball and at the end of it all he would submit to the tests, beat the **** out of Floyd and smack him around with the results. But now that I see all the bull**** excuses coming out and the supposed outrage of Pac's camp, I can see why Mayweather asked for these test.
The way I see it is that if Pac is clean he should be more than happy to take these tests. This fight should be held to the highest of standard in every regard including testing. Now that we see Pac's reluctance to get this done this kind of testing should be demanded of him if he wants to fight again.Comment

ok coach, here's what i think plain and simple... the whole drug testing issue is just a mind game created by the mayweathers (alot of pbf fans were even acknowledging this when it was announced) to gain mental advantage (nothing wrong with that), pac refused to play that game like a ***** and stuck on his own terms.
do you honestly think pbf and his team will just stop the accusations after pac tested negative?
some were already accusing him of using undetectable designer steroids, maxcell, etc. even before this whole circus erupted. now tell me, am i not thinking logically?Comment
