Dear lord, been over this topic 1000 times.
Lewis was past his best, Vitali was at his best. Vitali was winning the fight, but not by that much, and i have seen lewis come back from worse situations, arguably Frank Bruno was doing better against Lewis then he got stopped.
I don't know what would of happened if those cuts didnt occur, but they did, Vitali was tko'd on cuts caused by punches, so its a fair win for lewis.Comment

This makes no sense, Lewis was knocked into next week by Hasim Rahman, yet rematched him.
He was stopped by Mccall and rematched him, those guys KNOCKED LEWIS OUT, Vitali was edging him slightly in a close fight.

Lewis retired out of principle, he was being shat on by HBO, and the fans, no-one appreciated him, so he left the heavyweight division to wallow in its own filth, and ever since then people have been crying for him to come back.
You think that money makes a difference here? Lewis is rich dude, he has more $$$ than he ever needs, it was principle, **** the haters, let them have 10 years of a **** division, the worst of all time.Comment

Am I the only one who think that Vitali was only trying to survive at the 20 last seconds of the last round ?? To me, Lennox was getting better as the fight was going on. A younger version of Lewis would have dominate VitaliComment
