Chris John? Hah. Gamboa or Lopez would make him look pathetic.

I highly doubt that, and actually think John makes both look like they don't belong in there with a seasoned fighter like him.....if a fight like that happens you got a bet.

I agree. John is an excellent and talented fighter, as well as seasoned. He has the third missing peace Lopez and Gamboa are lacking...

I'd take John against either of them at this point also...

John would lose to any of the top dudes at 126. He ain't no where near as good as he was and it's more due to the weight. In all honesty, he needs to move up.

Remember I said this, John is gonna get his ass beat. A healthy John would beat Gamboa/ Juanma, right now both knock him out.

You think John would lose to Steven Luevano? If he moves up he will get stretched I think, he is not like Pacman in that he doesn't seem to have the physical make up to put on weight and have positive results in the ring from it and doesn't really have great power. I remember they were talking about him fighting Robert Guerrero, he would get bean badly by the Ghost.

I'll take you up on that - and it might happen, due to Gamboa being the 'regular' WBA champ and John the 'super' champ. If they meet, I'll put big points on that and come to you first. IMO the only way to beat Gamboa is to spark him out, which is what I think Mtagwa might do.

... The same applies to Lopez, but we've seen that he's liable to gassing out - since John is purely a full-distance fighter, him outboxing Lopez wouldn't be a huge shock to me. I doubt he'd be able to withstand Lopez's onslaught of heavy punches, though.

Chris John is a good fighter, but Juarez exposed him over these past two fights. John has endurance problems in the later rounds. Once he gets tired and slow, his hands drop and that suspect chin becomes exposed. If he keeps trying to make it big in the US and continues to fight ranked opposition, he's in for some trouble. Respect the guy for finally coming out of hiding after all these years in Indonesia, but he's goona get KO'd sooner than later.
