Good luck to him. He was absolutely brilliant in 2007/2008. I hope he can regain that form. I for one will be rooting for him in any fight he's in.

Hopefully John's next fight is televised in the US. He's a fun fighter to watch.

        Maybe he could face Cabellero?

Mijares was never a pound for pound fighter. I laughed at everyone who rated him highly, yet I was criticized for it. Then he gets beat by DARCHINYAN lol. I don't care how you slice it, Darchinyan is not a good fighter in any sense of the word.

I bumped your thread about him being the most overrated fighter ever that you made after the Darchinyan loss... this was after both Cermeno losses. You were right, so I gave you some props for it.

I like Vic but he definitely isn't that great. In his last fight he was getting dominated by a club fighter before he got the KO. If he didn't have the power he would be a club fighter himself...

I think John is one of the most skilled boxers in the world and is without a doubt in my mind the best at 126.....barring a huge shot that puts him out I don't see anyone beating him.

He has good timing though and is a busy fighter himself.....in the 2nd fight with Juarez who is a good fighter, I had him winning 11 of 12 when Juarez landed that shot too little too late.
