I am so happy she got to meet her favorite boxer, it made me feel good to be able to introduce Winky to all of you, I am glad to be able to do so. I of course told Winky Wright about this website, as I did to James Toney, Lamon Brewster, Dan Goossen, Kennedy McKinney, Antonio Tarver, Glen Johnson, Ann Wolfe, Andre Ward, Ike Quartey, Ronnie Shields, and everyone involved with the fight!

Meeting him and Clancy both was great...especially since I've seen him ref. so many fights! What exactly was that that he said about me (inbetween demanding a damn beer!)? Something about a female and boxing?? I didnt catch all of it way in the back of the auto!

Bill is a great guy, who I have had the pleasure of knowing for years, Roy Jones and I go back for about 5 or 6 years as well, it was great to have them both pile in for the ride....

Sounds like everyone had a great time. I was on the opposite side as you guys I think, (assuming you were were the fighters come out). I have a few pics I can put up soon. Was Soundtravelers party fun? I went to Tunica and won finally! Saw a few rock legends playing roulette together, that was cool. Wish I would have met you guys soooner so I could have had the access you guys had, i mean wow, meeting Winky and Roy, damn. I heard that Roy Jones may fight Tarver next, what do you guys think? I peresonally think he needs a warm up fight. But, if its in Memphis.......more good times to come!

i'd like to take some time out to tell you guys about 3 of the folks i met at this fight from boxing scene. i'll start with st since i met him first and had spent alot of time with him. what a super guy. funny thing is that this dude can name drop til next year if he wanted to but he isn't like that at all. i mean the few names he has mentioned to you guys are just a drop in the bucket. the man is for real. it was a pleasure hanging out with him the night before the fight and then again after the fights. and what a stage presence. persoanlly i'd choose hom over buffer. that lets get ready to rumble junk is sooo out dated. time for some new blood and new material. tracy finally made it there saturday just before the fights. i was standing in front of the forum and st called me over to give me her tickets so she could get in. i looked for about 20 minutesd till i went to the box office and there she was talking to the ticketer. you guys should have seen the relief on her daughters face(and what an adorable face i must say). they both seemed to be happy to see me with the tickets. it was a blast talking boxing and non boxing with intelligent people. her daughter knows more boxing than most of my friends. now i'm not the biggest winky fan (how could i be when her daughter is!) but i have to tell you was priceless watching this youngster get excited about meeting winky. she wore a t-shirt that she made that said something like I love you winky! i believe the love was in the form of a heart. i think she almost fainted meeting him. she couldn't speak for like 5 hours! j/k. both tracy and amber were alot of fun to hang with. you better watch that girl tracy, she is gonna be a heartbreaker! all you guys missed out on hanging out with some great people. hopefully there will be more chances to come in the future. anyways.....you guys i had a blast and it wouldn't have been the same without hanging out with you all.
