I just researched it, and you were right. Tyson's paternal grandfather (father's father) was called Kirkpatrick and he was an immigrant from Ireland who married an African-American woman.

Tyson's mulatto father was a pimp (son of the Irish immigrant) called Kirkpatrick whom he never knew. He abandoned Tyson and his mother when Mike was age 2.

Kirkpatrick fathered a total of 16 children with several women.

Muhammad Ali's is of Irish decent. The just recently honored him not to long ago in Ireland and If Im not mistaken his grandfather, who's last name is clay also, is an irish immagrant who married an African american women, which was ali's grandma.

just some fyi, Its not surprising because blacks have always been open towards interracial dating/marriage. Boxers such as Henry Armstrong, Joe Louis, and many others clearly have mixed lineage. Outside of many obvious European countries, almost all cultures are a result of a mixture of many.

catskills123 is easily the best poster on the site and very original.

he's the founder of some classic threads, yet he has no friends.

                i don't get it.
