BoxingScene.com has been advised that an agreement has been reached for a junior welterweight unification between WBC champion Devon Alexander and IBF champion Juan Urango. The fight will take place on March 6 and HBO will televise. The venue has not been set but a Las Vegas location is possible.

These are the wrong two JW's to match together. Urango/Maidana and Alexander/Khan or Alexander/Bradley is much better.

A fairly interesting fight, it is a good test for Alexander if he is as good of a boxer as he appears to be he should be able to deal with Urango. That said Urango is a tough customer who will be there for the full 12 if Alexander can not maintain his dstance or is not tough enough should Urango be able to make the fight his atleast in cet portion Alexander could be in trouble.

Alexander should be able to use his skills to win a decision but he has never really fought anyone like Urango so it should be a stiff test for him.
