Gatti is an all time favourite of mine, but I wouldn't say he had the best chin ever, what he had was the biggest heart and will ever, along with a decent chin. He was hurt and dropped pretty often, it's just he always came back. If you know what I mean.

No doubt he had a solid chin though, just not on the level of a Hagler or Ali, IMO.

Yeah, that's the question... what you consider... I mean there only a few guys that were never hurt...

For me personally getting hurt doesn't mean that you ain't have a good chin... that Gatti probably did it with as much heart and will as his chin is true... but for me personally he had a great chin...

But it's the same with ATG's... some choose guys who were the best of their time and others choose only the real top guys you know... I personally think he had a great chin but I coould also understand if somebody says he was hurt many times and that shows that his chin wasn't that great...

I can see your point as well dude

Either way, Gatti was one tough bastard
You could hurt him, drop him, beat him half to death, and he'd still carry on if he physically could.
A true warrior, even if not the best of his generation... one of the most memorable.

I think you have to put it straight...

Many call him bum or something... dude was a two division champion... not everybody can become that and especially not a bum. Gatti had some boxing skill actually but as soon as he got hurt... you know the story *loooooooooool*

He fought some very good fighters as well... like Ruelas... DLH... Mayweather etc. I'm not saying that he was one of the best of his time... but he was still a pretty good fighter...

A warrior def... Gatti was the ****... I would him on top with Holyfield... because Holyfield took shots from the big boys... but Gatti will be remembered how couldn't he... it would be criminal *loooooooooooooool*

I gotta give it to some:

Ali... really fought hard punchers and pretty much took everything they got and was still competive in every fight...

Hagler... of course... dude couldn't be hurt...

Aaron Pryor took some bad shots and they hurt him but somehow in the next second he had his **** together...

Margarito... he took Cotto's shots (and you could see after the match how much they did to his face as well)... and Mosley must have landed about 50 straight rights where he could really sat on them...

            Chavez...

Ray Robinson... he was in some grueling bouts especially late in his career and always came up...

            Holyfield...

            Marciano...

Arturo Gatti... what this dude took was unbelievable...

and many many more *lol*... that were just a few on top of mind
Gatti could push through, in the sense that he could get badly hurt but keep coming until he was stopped, but as for his chin, it was solid but he wasn't overly difficult to hurt in the first place, he just had a ton of heart and kept coming even if he was busted up.
