He does indeed, taking beatings from Cotto and Hatton without being knocked down or KO'd. Recently, Margarito had an amazing chin. It's probably done now after taking so many punches in 44 fights, especially after the brutal KO by Moseley. But before that and even during the fight, the man could take a bat.

First, I was impressed how Mosley handled the situation against Forrest in their first fight. He was in deep water but some how he pulled through. Vernon was landing bombs but Mosley never quit.
Toney has a good chin too, I reckon.
But with that said...
Hagler has to be #1. Some say Roldan knocked him down...I say he slipped.
La Motta and Marciano also had good chins.
Don't forget Gavilan. Over 140 fights and never stopped. Probably the toughest fighter out of Cuba...Last edited by Main Source; 12-31-2009, 07:28 AM.Comment

Ali has to get a mention, he got up at, like, 2 after being dropped by Frazier in the 14th round of an all out war. He fought a lot of the hardest punchers in Heavyweight history, and was only stopped when he was shot to ****, against another ATG in Larry Holmes.Comment

Great thread J... it's unbelievable but there was really boxing before Mayweather and Pacquiao *looooooooooooooooooooooool*Taking punches isn't something fighters particularly look forward to, but I'm sure everyone has seen those types of fighters that never seem to go down, no matter what punch and how hard it was.
Feel free to name those fighters that could take any solid shots opponents threw at them. Fighters from any era count, along with the present of course.
I gotta give it to some:
Ali... really fought hard punchers and pretty much took everything they got and was still competive in every fight...
Hagler... of course... dude couldn't be hurt...
Aaron Pryor took some bad shots and they hurt him but somehow in the next second he had his **** together...
Margarito... he took Cotto's shots (and you could see after the match how much they did to his face as well)... and Mosley must have landed about 50 straight rights where he could really sat on them...
Chavez...
Ray Robinson... he was in some grueling bouts especially late in his career and always came up...
Holyfield...
Marciano...
Arturo Gatti... what this dude took was unbelievable...
and many many more *lol*... that were just a few on top of mindComment
