how much greater would ali have been if he hadn't been suspended for 3 1/2 years?
would hagler still have been robbed if he wasn't messing around in the beginning of the fight?
how great could have mayweather been if he wasn't such a *****?

no but honestly, i'll remember him as a fraud. if there's one word i could use i'd be that one. kept claiming he was the greatest, talking **** but ducked the best names of his time. how are you going to be fighting in the same era alongside fighters like mosley, cotto, margarito (before he was found guilty), pacquiao .. and not fight them? while claiming to be the greatest, that you won't fight them because they don't generate as much money as you do, because they live too far away.. etc etc and all the BS excuses he's made up.
floyd is a disgrace to the sport. he says he's better than other all time greats yet he says he doesn't fight to prove who's the best. it's sad that a guy with the tools that floyd has is doing this to himself and his legacy, he'll regret it later down the road though. the what ifs, would've, should've but didn't.
at the same time he probably saved himself a couple of ass whoopings and embarrassments.

a great talent who refused to use it against the best competition in the second half of his career.
Boxings all time greats are remembered by how they fought against the best competition, win or lose, and not for how much money they made or PPVs they sold.
Floyd will mostly be remembered as someone who "woulda, coulda and shoulda"
but didn't.
