I have been critical of Mosley and Toney. I was not a member back what Vargas was relevant. I am not going to dig through my post history to
"provide you with evidence," as your posts have been proven that you are biased beyond persuasion.

It has never been as important becase it has never interrupted PRE-fight negotiations, and none of those fights you listed were as big as this fight has the potential to be. Also, as I stated, testing issues were only an issue of concern AFTER these fighters tested positive. They were not responsible for causing a rift and potentially disrupting the biggest fight in decades.

I'm curious as to where this sudden demand for stricter testing came from.

So, I ask these questions,


Why not after any of Shane Mosleys fights after DLH? 2003

Why not James Toneys fights after Ruiz? 2005

Why not Fernando Vargas fights after DLH? 2002

Why not Roy Jones fights after Hall? 2000


If you're so adamant about stricter testing standards,

why wait so long and overlook the other guys who actually got caught?

Because not a single one of them has ever cared about "cleaning up the sport".


If they did, they'd be able to point me to the many posts and threads in regard to the topic.


Even after Floyd Sr. made his initial accusations,

not a single one of them demanded for Manny to be tested in any kind of way.


It wasn't until it was brought up in negotiations that they suddenly jumped on the bandwagon of needing better testing for a cleaner sport.

only real way of effective testing is to have the boxers test with blood and urine all year around. That is why the olympics are considered the best for of testing although they have tons of problems and mistakes in their system. That is the main difference between the commissions and the olympic standard, is year around testing in and out of competition.
