MANNY PACQUIAO vs FLOYD MAYWEATHER the SAGA continues....

What everyone hereneeds to realize about this fight and about what is taking place in boxing right now. You are all clearly overlooking this for what it really is my friends. IT IS THE BIGGEST FIGHT IN THE PAST 8 years. NO HW fight anyways. I mean Lewis vs Tyson was pretty big but niether man was in his prime when they fought. These are two of the best fighters in the game both in tehir primes at the peak of their careers.

The fight was being pushed too soon to really do what needs to be done for a fight of this magnitude. The world tour, the press conferences interviews and other things that go along with fights like this. Some of my favorite stuff to watch about Ali vs Frazier was the pre fight hype where Ali is all wide eyed talking about Frazier and Frazier is gettng all hyped up saying you aint fighting so and so you fighting Joe Frazier....look at it this way...

Two reasons for all this hoopla one because Tim Bradley posses a threat and PAC still wants to fight FMJ just not in March. The second reason is because Paulie is a good tune up for PAC. He moves well uses his jab and has very fast hands. It can give PAC more time to prepare for FMJ and learn how to cut off the ring. This whole ROIDS thing is a ploy for both fighters to postpone the fight gie more tie for a build up and a world tour. This is big bucks and it was too quick for it to happen. This is the smarter business move. In the end PAC will test and be clean and they will both fight. Boxing will look like a good clean sport the fight will be better promoted and have more of a climax all leading to more $$$$$......Lefty

In the bold, I agree all the way. I've been saying that from the start, March felt too soon.

Good post Lefty. I have been saying since the whole testing issue came up that it just feels like a PR move to hype the fight. I thought it would still push through in March but you have been able to even justify a postponment to a later date, lol. All this could be true.

What I do doubt is that the whole thing was planned this way from day 1, if what you posted does come true, certain parts of this was most probably planned belatedly or worse, just stumbled upon.

The danger here is if any of the tune up fights, for either fighter, turns into a loss, a winning but sloppy performance or an injury. If that happens, then the rescheduled fight will not be as big a fight as we are currently expecting, at the very least.

i like both fighter but think mayweather would kill him the levels are just too big a difference, but i agree that the fight has been pushed to early but its too late to turn back now epecially for pac-man now all this has come out that he is a drug cheat the demand is now too big for him to turn away from, but i personally feel that he is clean.

Honestly that to me wont happen with FMK fighting Matt Hatton and Pacquiao going up against Pauile potentionally at 147 or the infamous 143 mark I cannot see Paulie hurting PAC. might turn into a Sturm vs oscar fight where Paulie gives Pac a boxing lesson though. But truth be told Paulie hjust doesn't have anough in his right hand to do so. I think the two pre fight fight opponents chose by both sides fit the bill perfectly. Matt Hatt a somewhat GBP fighter picked as a favor to Ricky. Both Ricky GBP and MP get a piece of that pie. Mat gets a big pay day. Also Paulie running his mouth promoted by DiBella who is in bed with MP and Al Haymon as DiBella also promotes Berto. Some casual fans do not know all this so to them they don't see any connection to MP on either side. It is all set up to lead to the big dance and also put money in the pockets of the partners and other promoters in the meantime. Remember the best thing a fighter can ever do for anotehr fighter is give them a fight or fight each other. In the end Paulie makes $$$ DiBella makes Money, GBP makes money, TOP RANK makes money and Mayweather prmotions makes money. Even the fight between Berto and Mosley has Mayweather's hands in it some way. GBp MP and Dibella all involed to some extent.....Lefty

I would believe that this was a ploy if the controversy wasn't so devastating to Pac's reputation. This whole scenario has really damaged Pac's legacy and reputation. If this thing was planned by both sides they should have chosen less controversial issues such as the purse, the gloves, weight, or the ring size.

All of those things have been done in the past. This is something new and has serious relivancies to all sports not just boxing. By doing this and trust me Pac will take the test and the fight will happen. All this will lead up to him being clean and making his reputation be back in good standings. Eventually there will be an explanation and the test will be done. Trust me it makes perfect sense.....Lefty

Yea but the unfortunate thing about it is even if Pac tests clean a lot of people will still say he's cheated in the past and had time to get clean this time around. So Pac's rep or image or whatever can never ge fully restored imo.
