Also, when Duran fought Sugar Ray Leonard, he was 71-1 and had dominated every division he had fought in. The one fight he lost at that point was a decision loss and he had never really been in danger of being KO'd. Pac was KO'd twice at the lower weights, but was able to walk through a 147 pounder's punches like a robot. I am not saying he is on PEDs, but that raises some red flags for me.

With all due respect, there were PEDs during Duran's career. Body builders, wrestlers, weight lifters and some German olympic athletes were tied to useage. PEDs are not new. I'm 56 and remember the so-called "supplements" that were in use when I was in my twenties. It was not as widespread as in recent history but they existed.

In addition one could argue: who has PacMan actually dominated? Held two of his last three opponents to catchweights (neither of which looked particularly great in recent bouts) with one arguably over the hill and fought a one dimensional Jr Welter. Anti-Mayweather factions are using the similar argument against him. He fought a more prime ODH and an undefeated Hatton though.

I think this fight will eventually happen but don't put in past Arum to use the testing concession as a bargaining chip against purse parity ...sure we'll take the tests and 60% of the purse. Just my opinion.

I like both Mayweather and Pacquiao but personally I'd rather see Mosley vs Pacquiao. More exciting fight. Happy New Year.

I agree with you sir, But I would much prefer to see Mayweather fight Mosley just because he's the WW champ and well a TRUE WW. Something many say Mayweather hasn't fought yet.

To a certain degree "they" are right. So it only makes dollars and cents if Pac "walks away", "moves on" "ducks" "chickens out". Depending on how you look at it...

oh no, and i thought this fight was making progress. this kind of post will only add fuel to the fire, causing the kids on this site to malign pac even more.
i suspect this fight will never happen, not because of manny, not because of mayweather, but because of boxing fans who "inadvertently" make **** posts like these.

I don't disagree with this guy's stance, but I didn't care for his article.

Mayweather isn't cheating and probably hasn't. He's never lost so he hasn't came from being knocked out to knocking out people 50 pounds heavier to his origional weight

Pacquiao Is Taking Something More Powerful Than Steroids!

After Pacquiao annihilates Mayweather, their will be crying and gnashing of teeth and people will realize, that Pacquiao is the chosen one indeed. Many people will fall down on their knees and beg for mercy and some of them will be jumping bridges and buildings in shame.

Pacquiao will unleash his might and power and it will be felt in all four corners of the world and send shivers down every unbelievers' spines and cause them to talk in different languages.

Pacquio's devastating punch will knock out Floyd and reverberate in every doubters' homes and rattle their consciences and make them speak in tongue.

Pacquiao is God's gift to mankind. He is deus ex-machina sent by the god's of boxing to cleanse its kingdom of money-eyed, fraudulent claimant of the pound for pound title, and false prophet boxer.

I say unto thee, repent Floyd! Repent! For your end is near! The wrath of Pacquiao will bear down on you like a meteor from Venus!

Floyd, you can run, but you can't hide.
