Well, now lets be realistic here. Floyd wasn't waiting to tire him out, he was getting his timing down. You could watch him figuring it out especially after a lackluster first 2 rounds and into the later rounds when he was landing perfect counters. That's a knock on his training (yet props to instinct and in ring smarts) because he doesn't go into a fight with a strategy. Manny went in the ring against Hatton knowing exactly what he needed to do to blow him up. That's the difference between a prepared fighter and a fighter going on instinct. Both wins were great and both fighters are great. Its why we want the fight so bad.

Oh no! No credit from an internet character named Mali? ****, what is he gonna do?!
I don't need to remind you that Oscar was the betting favorite in the fight as well. Do you not think professional handicappers took the weight cut into consideration?
Or do you know more than they do? Please do share.
if Floyd KO's Manny or outboxes him..why would he be praised?..its been done before!..but if Pac beats Floyd that would further cement his legacy..funny how that works.
yes its much better to make them force weight off.!!!
IMO..Pac isnt great, but entertaining..I guess he have opposite views of greatness.
Yeah, and I guess your view of greatness is the opposite of almost every boxing expert and writer out there. Give credit where it is due. Floyd Mayweather is a great fighter. He cemented his legacy in the lower divisions as one of the best, if not the best, of our generation.Comment

People lets be real here the author makes a good observation because Pacquiao was not too long ago at 106lbs and now has added 40+ pounds of MUSCLE!!! He's not fat guy and when he's fighting at 145lbs to possibly 154lbs (to face Yuri Forman) that will probably be nearly all MUSCLE!!!
Pacquiao who's about 5'6-5'7" started in...
1995 at 106lbs,
***He was KO @110lbs***
***He was KO @113lbs***
In 1999 he balloned to 122lbs,
2003 126lbs,
2008, 134.5lbs
2008, 145lbs
2010 Roach is trying to face Mayweather @147lbs
2010 Roach is trying to face Yuri Forman @154lbs

Your a brave man Lyle. Prepare to be attacked non-stop by all of Pac-man nation. My take is that Manny would never turn down this kind of money while blowing a chance to be the undisputed P4P king. He would never turn it down unless taking a blood test threatens his future. Manny may be clean as a whistle but, he has the appearance of a guilty man.Comment

Why would any1 take this guy seriously?

[QUOTE=BillyBoxing;7113553]"greatness is beating an undefeated, had never been knocked down Chico Corrales..("
Corrales was a great win, corrales wasn't that great(RIP) but Floyd beat him so easy.
I could ***** about Chico being weight drained but it's a *****s sport.
You could but you would be lying. Corrales fought at that same weight for almost 4 more years. And he won another title at that weight. Saying Corrales was weight drained for Mayweather is just a pathetic attempt to discredit the win.Comment

whoever wrote this article sounds like an idiot.
thats really all that has to be said.
i guess, to add something else, why has he not demanded anyone else to take these tests?
hmm.
lemme think... a self indulged guy fighting a smaller, yet more ferocious guy who has destroyed comp that he has decisioned?
could it be he is just scared to lose and is grasping on straws to find some reason why pac is a better fighter?
cause we all know that, u cant be better than floyd, right? lol!Comment
