FYI I agree on testing for the sake of keeping the sport clean, my only question is why did Mayweather ask for this now and not before, not even once hinting that he thought it was a problem in the sport?

Maybe then I could understand the sentiment behind the request itself, since he has never brought this issue up before in any other fight or promotion, I question his motives with respect to this one fight.

He already explained his motives, its to ensure that both fighters are training and fighting on a level playing field. Who in their right mind wouldn't be su****ious after Manny's trainer came out and said Nobody including Manny or Roach knows what supplements he (Ariza) is giving to Manny. Are you nuts? Random blood testing is a contractual clause that Team Mayweather have requested. Just like the 10 mil per pound over 147 is a contractual term proposed by Pac camp. NSAC has nothing to do with the 10mil penalty per pound over 147 just like they have nothing to do with the contract term for random testing from an outside agency by Team Mayweather.

Manny does not want RANDOM blood testing or any blood tests for PED's 30 days leading into the fight. So he has rejected a contractual term the mayweathers want in order for this figh to happen. It is Manny's right to do so.

A contractual term if agreed to by both parties can circumvent NSAC.

A decline by Manny doesn't necessarily equate that he is positive of PEDs. It can simply mean that he is against Mayweather's assertion of his demands.

NSAC is the agency and the sole right to govern it's laws, enforce its laws, foresee fairness and determine eligibility of its licensed boxers.

Mayweather is a boxer like Pacquiao, he cannot enforce such demands. Though you are right that Mayweather's demands can definitely check Pacquiao's "cleanliness" or integrity, but it isn't Mayweather's job nor his role to enforce anything.

Pacquiao can also make demands towards Mayweather.

The point is an agreement between boxers should have a pre-requisite of having to satisfy first and foremost, the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

I know it's a lot of money and you're going to call me crazy for this, but do you think everyone is driven solely by money? Mayweather is and that much is clear. Some people are driven to be great and the money follows as a result. Some people get lucky and rich without having to take the same risks. I'll give you an example musically compare 50 cent to Jay-Z. I think both are money driven but one (Jay) is driven to be great whether as a lyricist/writer/businessman. I think May is driven by money solely and if that floats your boat all power to you, but it's definitely not inspiring.

So if he doesn't care about the money then take the random tests and fight for free to prove your integrity. Please don't tell me you went there with the Jay-z, 50 Cent analogy. I am a big Jay-Z fan and can tell you he is more driven by money more than any rapper in history. Matter of fact his sole purpose of rapping right now is trying to become the first billionaire rapper. If you used Nas instead i would have give you a little wiggle room. But don't tell me the man who brags about his money on almost every single record is not money driven. (But thats a different argument for a different day)

And for the record being driven by money is not a bad thing as long as you are getting it legally. The same things doesn't motivate everyone.

Again I would likely agree with you except for one thing, the accusations came out of the Mayweather camp prior to those statements being made my Ariza, so the seeds were already sown before Ariza spoke, what he said had no bearing on the request.

There you go and if thats the case then Arum, Pac and Roach should just say so instead of coming up with these ridiculous excuses which get proven to be wrong as soon as they open their mouth. Fact is that they bit off more than they can chew with the mayweather fight and thought that by coming up demands he wouldn't agree to it they could make it look like he's the one scared to fight Pac. Since it has now backfired on them, they are running like chickens with their heads cut off to try to save face.
