    The Pro's:
-He was more flexible in the terms (the weight, gloves, 50-50 split, date, etc.)
    - Has kept trash talking to a minimum.

    The Con's:
    - Was too strict in the blood testing clause, he should have backed off a bit there are ways to do the testing without too many tests.

Now let's pass off to Pacquiao:

    The Pro's:

    - After the terms were said and done didn't make any crazy demands.
    - Did try to negotiate about the blood testing being kept to a minimum.

    The Con's:

    - After Mayweather having been so flexible in the other terms, he should have been more flexible on the blood testing clause, he shouldn't have made so many excuses because he seems to have a hidden agenda, and makes him su****ious, he should have had an attitude to take the tests to prove his innocence.
-Don't know if this has anything to do with the fight negotiations but the lawsuit is rediculous, because if he really wants to prove they are not defaming him, he is going to have to take the tests, but that is just my opinion.

Feel free to agree or disagree, but this is just my opinion, nobody ducked anyone, they both were at fault, I also believe that if this fight takes place, Mayweather's already won the psychological part of the fight with angering Pacquiao with the blood test.
Excellent thread. After all I do think both fighter are ultimately at fault here now and if the fight doesn't take place it will be a new low in boxing and it will look poorly on both. I do think that Pac will have to either go through with some form of blood testing in this or a future fight or else he will continue to be angered by those who think he has something to hide, it's already out there. I personally don't think he's cheating but I wonder now.

arum and pacquiao have not been flexible at all. they cried about having the USADA run the tests b/c they feel its corrupt. GBP said, OK we'll work with them to find an agency that's neutral, but all we ask for is random testing, and no lame 30-day cutoff period.

the way this shakes down, is that you have a side willing to negotiate with the other side, to find some common ground. while the other side wants everything done their way, at their times, on their own terms.

you are a fool, if you put any of this on GBP or mayweather, as they have agreed to everything top rank has stipulated.

since when does somebody not willing to be randomly drug tested, fall at the faults of somebody other than that person?

this is all top rank here buddy. case in point, when have GBP or floyd mayweather come out and said, "this fight is dead," or "you have until this time to accept our offer." when?

I agree Mayweather has been flexible, and nowhere in my post did I say Pacquiao and Arum where flexible, they haven't but at least they didn't make any crazy demands, and I do agree with the Pacquiao not being flexing about being drug tested is his fault, but you also have to see that Mayweather should be even more flexible than that, Mayweather's image would be even better if he were to make the fight happen if he were to make the testing besfore the 30 days as Pacquiao wants it, they could make a counter offer to Arum's "let Nevada choose" and say "we'll test Pacquiao with urine and bloodwork all we want before the 30 days and if Nevada deems it necessary we'll continue testing them afterwards, while keeping the unlimited urine test clause as Arum said", If Arum were to refuse such an offer then it would be straight up ducking. The thing is it's both fault for the fight not happening nothing more, nothing less.
