144-149 = 5 lbs difference in three years.

The real difference is nowadays he isn't cutting so much weight. For the second Marquez fight, for example, Pacquiao would be cutting around 20 pounds (possibly more) from his walk-around weight. Less starvation appears to make Pacquiao a much better fighter. Is this abnormal? Personally, I don't think it's any cause for concern.
pac only gained 5 lbs of water weight from the cotto fight?

    dam...........

Yeah ppl act like he turned into some monster over night like "whoa he went from fighting at 130 to fighting at 147, that is almost 20lbs of pure muscle"!

When really he hasn't put on any significant weight at all and now is just not cutting weight the way most top level boxers do.

SAMURAI was a boxing fan but he did lvoe Pac.

The man was well respected by all fans.

He really was a great poster.

He got the balance of being a nuthugger and a boxing fan just right.
