Regardless of whatever happens, or if the fight moves forward, Pacquiao has been affected in one way or another.
A. If Pacquiao does not agree to Mayweather's demand for Olympic-style drug testing, there is going to be a large number of people who will automatically say "Pacquiao was afraid of the tests because he was taking illegal substances."
B. If Pacquiao and Mayweather abandon the clause for Olympic-style drug testing, and Pacquiao wins, a large number of people will automatically say "Pacquiao beat Mayweather with the help of performance enhancing drugs."
C. If Pacquiao agrees to take the tests, comes up clean and then loses to Mayweather, a large number of people will automatically say "Pacquiao was unable to take his performance enhancing drugs and look what happened."
D. Even if Pacquiao took the tests, came up clean, and beat Mayweather - his performance in victory will dissected in every possible way because of the entire drug test dispute. If he doesn't throw as many punches there will be questions. If he doesn't win by knockout there will be questions. If he wins a close fight there will be questions. The mindset of "did Pacquiao have that extra edge" will play a strong role; just as they did after Shane Mosley admitted to inadvertently taking performance enhancing drugs and the public began to dissect his physical appearance, his ability to fight, his in-ring performances, etc. Of course, this means nothing unless the tests are random. If they are scheduled tests, then people will claim Manny found loopholes to beat the tests.

Why the **** Floyd making Pac jump through hoops if he thinks he'd be easier to beat than Marquez?
Did *****bitch make Marquez go through this random testing bull****? No.
Pac alrdy agreed to give urine and blood above and beyond what was necessary, but that's not good enough for *****bitch Floyd.
*****bitch Floyd just doesn't want to fight PERIOD.

I mean c'mon that is the equivalent of a homeless person dispensing financial advice, there is a credibility issue that you have to take into consideration.

He still throws punches too wide, he's still predictable with his punch selection, he still gets hit too much and he still tends to jump in with his punches so what is the difference? He punches dramatically harder now than he did at the lower weights and his ability to take punches w/o flinching has skyrocketed and we're talking about the same dude who didn't want no more of Marquez (in his own words) after the 2nd controversial win. This dude walked through Cotto's shots and I would love to believe that he's some freak of nature but his unwillingness to take random blood test clearly says to me that he's juicing. I dont have to lick PBF's ass dude's record speaks for itself and if you were intelligent you would be wanting to see a controversial free mega fight also not some juiced up super monkey ****. This aint about Floyd no more this is about a fair, clean fight and setting a precedent for it's predecessors.Last edited by rommel357; 12-28-2009, 04:53 PM.

Both of these fighters want every advantage & consession to go their way as of late in order to step into the ring. Freaking crybabies.
Floyd getting his way:
1) Floyd had Hatton come fight him a WW and not at a catchweight. Advantage Floyd.
2) Floyd did not come in at the agreed catchweight limits vs Marquez, giving him an advatage against a smaller fighter who was coming up two weight classes. Advantage Floyd.
Manny getting his way:
1) Fought lowest rated Lightweight Champion...David Diaz. The best fight the best to be considered ATG hommie. Advanatge Pacquiao.
2) Fought weight drained DLH who hadn't fought at the weight in over 9/nine years. DLH clearly drained as proved by the fight night weight in which he was unable to rehydrate & weighed less than Manny. Advanatge Pacquiao.
3) Fought the beaten up Hatton who was knocked out by Mayweather. Fighter on the way down, not on the way up. Hatton was devasted by the whipping he took and the loss attached to his record. Convenient fight for Manny. Advantage Pacquiao.
4) Fought the beaten up Cotto who was KO'd and took a terrible beating from Magarito. Cotto was not the same fighter as evidenced by his lackluster performance vs Clotley. Also catchweight clause and championship at stake eventough Cotto is champ. Another figther on the way down, not on the way up. Convenient fight for Manny. Advantages Pacquiao.
NOTE : Pacquiao has fought more fights recently, therefore more points to establish.
Bottomline: In the pre-fight negotiation both fighters have tried to get as many advanatges/concessions in their favor as possible, as they have historically done. No surprise here. One of the differences from previous fights for both fighters is that they are both fighting a top ranked fighter in the current weight class in which the fight is to take place. Apparently neither wants to really fight each other due to the fact that they might actually lose. Hopefully they just need more time to prepare for each other (probably in Pacquiao's favor as he is the one not bending on the random drug test stipulation).
However, it seems like Team Pacquiao has received most of the concessions in this fight:
1) The fight is at WW limits.
2) Mayweather will be fined $10 million if he is over the weight limit.
3) Punchers gloves (8 oz Reyes) will be used as Pacquiao requested.
4) Ring size in his favor.
Team Mayweather's only request which Team Pacquiao & Shister won't agree to:
1)Mayweather would like to make sure it is a clean fight therefore random drug testing should take place.
Furthermore, I have never seen Mayweather impose a catchweight to his advantage in order to fight another fighter. He fought DLH at Jr Middle weight/Super WW with no catchweight BS.
In conclusion, both fighters are both prima-modonnas & little bitches who rountinely impose unfair conditions on oponents in order to guarantee themselves a victory on fight night. After reviewing all the consessions and requests from both fighters in this negotiation, it seems like Team Pacquiao is being the bigger crybaby of the two. Why?....> Team Mayweather has conceded to all of Team Pacquiao's conditions yet Team Pacquiao has refused to concede to one condition imposed by Team Mayweather. The most bafflying thing is that the condition being imposed by Team Mayweather is only going to insure a clean & fair fight.Last edited by Mr Reality; 12-28-2009, 05:25 PM.
