    1. mayweather didn't get slower.

    2. he was less offensive but that had nothing to do with weight. he just threw less combos and was less willing to engage because of hand problems and because he was fighting bigger men.

    3. his power is the same. you don't lose power moving up. the guys in the heavier divisions just take a punch better. also see #2. that also lessens your ko rates. less punches you throw , less chance you'll hurt or ko someone.

    4. pacquiao's power did somewhat improved. that's what happens you don't cut weight for a fight as much and when you get slightly heavier. only improvement in pacquiao is that his technique got better and his opponents can't handle his speed as well as his opponents in the lighter divisions who were faster and fought faster opponents.

just like mayweather's opponents at 140-154 was less able to cope with mayweather's speed compared to the guys he fought in the lower divisions who were more use to seeing faster guys. only difference is mayweather was less offensive as you say.

He does, Mayweather's foot speed/ foot work is as good as anybody's. Mayweather uses his legs to lead with the left hook/ straight right hand.

****ing Floyd Mayweather what a ****. He was only too happy to beat on a much smaller lighter Marquez then acts all righteous when a Fillipino midget threatens to kick his ass.

FLoyd = King of the cherry pickers. He puts those spanish farm hands to shame.
        Yes thats 100% correct.

Sprinters take steroids so that they can be more powerful and in no way whatsoever faster. Because we all know that the more powerful you can hit the ground with your foot the more the ground shakes which makes you get to the finish line faster.

        Simple isnt it.

Watch Mayweather vs. Corley, Bruseles, Gatti and tell me his speed didn't take a hit as he moved up to WW. I know he doesn't throw many combinations, I'm not confusing that with speed here. Remember, Mayweather didn't throw combinations against JLC either but he was lightning quick at 135. Baldomir was alot bigger but he was also slow, Mayweather could have displayed the lightning speed he had at Jr WW but didn't, want to know why? Because he doesn't have that kind of speed anymore.

Unless steroids improve foot movement, technique, ability to adjust in the ring, and other mental aspects of boxing then I guess Manny is as guilty as anybody.

His explosiveness, speed, and power has been there since day one.

                      i don't know......

he still looked fast to me.

remember , the more you throw and the more combinations you throw , the faster you look. just human nature when watching.
