The hell with Mayweather and Golden Boy.
They can kiss their asses and their million-dollar PPV with Manny goodbye.

This disupute could just as easily occurred over the weight penalties, glove size, etc. They didn't. What a lot of people on this board are refusing to ask themselves is:

WHAT IS PACQUIAO'S REAL REASON FOR NOT WANTING RANDOM TESTING?

The answer is real clear but let's break it down. You guys are mad because Mayweather requested this? umm..that's a part of negotiations. Who was Pacquiao to request certain gloves, weight penalties, etc? Exactly. Two fighters negotiate. And these negotiations have reached an impasse because one doesn't want to be subject to random drug testing. Is it superstition? Is it mental weakening? I submit that only the mentally weak would even believe that mess. It's obvious, guys. Put down your bias, take a break from the boards, let it soak in. But don't try to deny it with your righteous indignation just because a fighter you can't stand had the nerve to make a request YOU should support.

He was imprisoned for trying to smuggle *******, so he's a proven crackhead. It's not slanderous statement because it has been proven as true.

          War Pac.. in court!!
Don't know if he will. There's a statute in English Common Law somewhere which allows extreme comment on certain people, if they are recognised as being public figures.

By very nature of their public fame, it allows others to make publics statements about them, even defamatory.

Win, lose or draw Manny accomplishments won't be taken away from him cause there is no proof. People are gonna form their ideas anyway and this whole rumor of PED cannot be soley blamed on Floyd Sr or Golden Boy, there were people asking already. Also you have Ariza with his dumb comment that did more harm than good.

There is too much money to be made and unless the Pac team wants to continue with their original plan in fighting a tune up before Floyd this fight just might happen anyway. If they really fight Paulie they would be fighting another fast slick righty that is safe enough to get ready for Floyd.

That would equal like six months of intensive trainning for Floyd if the fight materializes by September.
Great post, I agree with you.

Exactly, since when requesting fair game, and upgrade something that is 40 years old/obsolete is wrong???

If you have nothing to hide why not take them??, mentally weak, PAC took Cotto's punch and showed as if they were nothing, you think they don't hurt?? that's mentally stong as it gets!

Besides what really bothered me from PAC is the demand of no random tests(what's the point!), and not taking them 30 day before the fight, Ariza's comment on PAC not knowing what he gives him and then PAC claiming he knows he's clean, HOW SO? you don't know what your taking!...I really want to beleive this is just publicity for the fight...Because if they want me to pay and see PAC vs Paulie their the one's on crack not Sr.!

De la Hoya and the Mayweathers demand to take a drug test, olympic style is nothing but a reckless ploy to unsettle Manny mentally and to tarnish his unassailable character as a person and as a boxer. The demands also makes the Nevada Athletic Commission obsolete and extinct.Because if this happens it will create a precedent. Anyone can ask to change the rules to their advantage and benefit. From what I understand Top Rank and Manny does not object to the idea of taking a drug test. It is the manner in which the drug test is conducted that they are against. Manny does not want his blood taken close to the fight date. The other thing is why is it that GBP and Mayweathers are now demanding these drug tests when this wasn't done before when De la Hoya and Floyd were fighting previous opponents other than Pacquiao ? The only reason I could think of are these: They are jealous of the legacy of Manny.Manny is a cinch to be recorded in boxing history as one of the greatest boxer of all times. Even Migulel Cotto and the legendary trainer Emanuel Steward declared this openly.Secondly, they want to tarnish and descredit the accomplishments of Manny in the ring by planting all these wild and reckless accusations in the minds of boxing fans. But good will always triumph from bad. Either way, Manny and Top Rank will emerge the winners in this contest. If the fight pushes through, GBP and Floyd Mayweather will earn a sizable sum of money BUT their reputation will be forever tarnished and destroyed. They will be the laughing stock of the boxing world. Why ? Because there is no way that Manny and Top Rank will give in to their ploy. They will be unmasked as nothing but novice bluffers and schemers. If the fight does not happen, there is even a chance that Manny and Top Rank will get more money from the court than in the ring. These reckless accusations/ innuendos that has been prominently published in the news and television are patently malicious because they don't have a shred of evidence. Even in America, speech is not a license. You cannot say anything under the sun against somebody by claiming free speech. We have laws on libel, slander, and oral defamation. And by the way, ever since Manny announced that he is going to court, suddenly GBP and the Mayweathers are nowhere to be heard in the media about the subject of drug use.

Regardless of whatever happens, or if the fight moves forward, Pacquiao has been affected in one way or another.

                  A. If Pacquiao does not agree to Mayweather's demand for Olympic-style drug testing, there is going to be a large number of people who will automatically say "Pacquiao was afraid of the tests because he was taking illegal substances."

                  B. If Pacquiao and Mayweather abandon the clause for Olympic-style drug testing, and Pacquiao wins, a large number of people will automatically say "Pacquiao beat Mayweather with the help of performance enhancing drugs."

                  C. If Pacquiao agrees to take the tests, comes up clean and then loses to Mayweather, a large number of people will automatically say "Pacquiao was unable to take his performance enhancing drugs and look what happened."

                  D. Even if Pacquiao took the tests, came up clean, and beat Mayweather - his performance in victory will dissected in every possible way because of the entire drug test dispute. If he doesn't throw as many punches there will be questions. If he doesn't win by knockout there will be questions. If he wins a close fight there will be questions. The mindset of "did Pacquiao have that extra edge" will play a strong role; just as they did after Shane Mosley admitted to inadvertently taking performance enhancing drugs and the public began to dissect his physical appearance, his ability to fight, his in-ring performances, etc. Of course, this means nothing unless the tests are random. If they are scheduled tests, then people will claim Manny found loopholes to beat the tests.

                  REAL TALK RICK.
That's why Manny should walk away and don't play Mayweather game.

I'm sorry but Mayweather ****ed up that fight.
Because there is too much to loose no for Manny, especially if he loss, people will say he wa on juice in hs previous fights.
It was supposed to be a great boxing event before Crackhead sr followed by the others came with that Roids ****.

That would have gone away in 2 seconds if PAC had accepted the drug tests with nothing to hide, and then go and kick PBF's ass!...So Who's fault is it?
