people like to think manny is this humble guy.

he's not. at least not anymore. he's got a huge ego. you can't be that good and not develop an ego.

the guy is tough to negotiate with. he plays hardball and doesn't give a crap.

the guy is a superstar , beloved in his country and set for life financially.

hard to play hardball in negotiations with a guy like that.

people forget how hardheaded he was in delahoya and hatton negotiations.

you're talking about the only guy i can think off that got delahoya to back down and offer more money.

he got hatton to take less than 50 percent of the purse.

Exactly!. When you think of the personalities involved I'm surprised the negotiations got as far as they did. Both Manny and Floyd have the biggest Ego's in the sport. They both want everything their way.

This is not about steroids or HGH, it is all about the unwillingness to give ground. The Risk is huge for both guys, so each side will kick, scratch and claw as far as they can get to make their boy comfortable. The problem is though, neither side will want to give. Both sides will refuse hard bargaining from the other.

When you think about it, this fight was kinda doomed from the start. We always knew Floyd was picky, but Manny has become a primadonna himself as of late. When an ego grows too large and expectations become too high, all we are left with is noise.

But they do sanction the fight which makes the fight legal!!! That pretty much overides all the money and weight talk.

With only maybe at the most 3 months to "officially" promote this fight all they are doing is trying to squeeze in 5 months of promotion into tHe 3 months, in the next couple of weeks this fight will "miracalously" be announced..

letting the nsac decide about the blood tests was a reasonable option team pac could put on the table. sad to hear that mayweather's camp shot it down so quickly.

1. Needle Phobia (no issues before, and Manny even snacks during tat work)
2. Disruptive to his training (Yet Shooting movies, preparing for concerts not an issue)
3. Will make him weak LOL.......
4. Superstitions LOL...... this one really they must have been joking...or must of been lost in translation.....
5. Manny was disrespected and will not then do the test out of principle (yet they looking at Paulie as an option LOL......)

think about who we hear as potential next fights for both.

paulie malignaggi and matthew hatton.

two guys with no chance of winning so that they can't upset the megafight later on.

also malignaggi is a mover , boxer type.

hatton is left handed.

they might not be pac/may clones but good for a few rounds and no threat.
