Now Manny is innocent until proven guilty but this whole thing reminds me of baseball and now I really wanted him to be tested more because he appears to be hiding something.

I don't understand why people seem to have issue with better testing in this day and age, athletes are not trustworthy and in a sport like boxing where lifes can be ruined or even taken the best testing policies should be used. PED are no joke and if someone knows what they are doing how to hide them they can be very hard to detect.
I agree with the bold. We should have random blood testing in boxing. I am all for that. But, I wanted to be mandatory. I have a problem with this being a witch hunt. That is my only problem with this whole fiasco. Random blood test will be great for boxing. And, if we do get it, we should thank Mayweather for that for bringing this to light. The commission should make it a mandatory. But, as of right now is not mandatory. And, I feel all this is a witch hunt and everybody is trying to single out Pac. And, that is the problem I have with all this.

If they use a strict testing program, fights will go to another state with lax testing. **** Bob Arum and all these idiots. The reason why McCain was probably refused as a mediator in this dispute is because John McCain is about fighter safety and would have pushed for more testing.

If Pac is superstitious or scared of needles, he needs to get over it. He's going to have $20 million minimum to make him get over it. If he's clean, he should do the testing. If his handlers are telling him not to do it, even though he's clean, he's taking the worst advice in the world.
Not to mention that as an attorney, Arum knows full well that the NSAC cannot change the testing guidelines for one fight only because that opens up "equal protection" issues under the constitution because the NSAC is in fact a government agency.

All Manny needed to do was say yes and this would not be occuring. People in the US have seen this whole thing with baseball, I watched them fight drug testing for years and guys scream to high heaven that they were clean.

That is the current enviroment and if someone is objecting this strongly (threatening lawsuits for asking for testing) I certainly have to question why they feel this way. He can be clean and I hipe he is, but I want him to be tested in the strongest possible manner after this because I want to know, because I certainly don't know he is now.

For the record I do not trust any athlete on this matter and feel any athlete could be using PED even the ones I like.

agree... nothing wrong with the testing but pac is clearly getting singled out because of his accomplishments

The fact that people like you keep using that as if it has anything to do with this. Manny Pacquiao has shady people in his inner circle. Is that relevant to whether or not he is clean?
Everything. Mayweather Sr. started this **** with no basis and look whats happened.

No fighter is bigger than the sport. No fighter can mandate/dictate the sport & 40 years worth of procedures.

More power to you, but to discredit Pac's reason is ignorant and closed minded. 30 days before, right after the fight and unlimited urine tests. More than anyone's ever had to do.

                Props to Floyd.
Who cares about the 10mill per pound penalty. Floyd should make weight. 10mill is better than pulling the plug on the fight 24 hours before no?

LoL, Mayweather screwed **** now. If he doesn't accept this offer we officially know it was a duck plan. Not that it was hard to see coming, but this will officiate it. Haha, I love how Arum thinks. He's real good at turning the tables. I love how he came out on the Pavlik fight and called Williams out. Now he puts Mayweather's balls on the table. And you know he'll be vocal about it to the world if Mayweather doesn't accept this. See, sometimes it's good to have a strong promoter on your side rather than be "your own promoter".

I mean, if anyone has been on steroids, its Floyd.

Fought at 106, moved all the way up to 154 and won a title. Has 5 stoppages in his last 10 fights, 4 of which have come at 140 and above (More than Manny Pacquiao in the same weight range.) Has brittle hands, suffered a broken rib, gets easily rattled with emotions, etc.
But Mayweather doesnt have a problem with RANDOM blood test's like Manny does

                    try again......

That sounds cool and all, but they could have gave them a later deadline than tomorrow for **** sake. People have to talk things over. I think blood tests are fair and I can't see why Nevada would have any reason to reject the proposal. In fact, Olympic style drug testing with blood tests would be good for Boxing.
