A lot of you "fans" fail to take into consideration the "Principle" aspect of Pacquiao's decision to play "Hard Ball." It's easy for any fan to say, 'Just take those tests. What's the big deal?' Well, the big deal lies in the fact that Pacquiao is being greatly disrespected by a group who can less about his legacy as the "Greatest Fighter" of this generation or his beloved image throughout the World.

Sending a stern message to a malicious and vindictive group of "Pros" in this sport will let them firmly understand that "Bully-tactics" and "Innuendo" will not be tolerated nor accepted by Pacquiao and the good people in the sport of boxing.

Mayweather Sr. started this entire fiasco. He is to blame for causing this fight not to happen. Senior's plan to "Take Down" Pacquiao has backfired on his entire clan and this debacle is the sole reason why we as boxing fans are the losers in this whole deal. JAT

So do you expect Floyd to request the same from all future opponents? because if he doesn't this will be exposed as the ploy everyone knows it is. A tactic that was started by Mayweather Sr. and the whole Mayweather camp, knowing these unreasonable terms would never be agreed to, so this fight would never see the ring and Floys could try and put up a smoke screen and put this on Pac. Floys is the one with the track record of not making fights not happen not pac. Pac and Arum are just showing Floys the will not be bullied and strong armed and I don't blame him.

There's nothing wrong at all for Mayweather to admit that this will be his greatest opponent, and this match will probably be of a greater magnitude than any future fight he can take. Mosley might be the only other exception.

I could give a damn this could potentially change the sport IMO for the better so all that pettyness about not being strong-armed and his feelings being hurt by "accusations" is irrelevant especially when just got through strong-arming cotto into putting his belt on the line 2 lbs under the weight limit. This is better for the sport so it should be encouraged.

Like a game of chess, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have been making strategic moves throughout the negotiation process to put themselves in the best possible position for their showdown on March 13. Every detail discussed was like a coordinated move and, thus far, Pacquiao has maneuvered brilliantly around the board.
When it came to the gloves, Mayweather wanted the 10-ounce pillows. Pacquiao wanted the 8-ounce puncher’s delight. The final verdict, 8-ounce gloves, scored a piece for Manny as rook took pawn!
When it came to the weight, Mayweather wanted the heavier 154-pound division. Pacquiao wanted to defend his newly acquired 147-pound title. The final verdict, 147 pounds, scored another piece for Manny as bishop took rook!


With Mayweather quickly down to his final few pieces on the board, he tried a desparate move to try to back Pacquiao into a corner. Mayweather demanded that Pacquiao take an unrequired blood test, giving the impression that his recent success might be due to some type of performance-enhancing drug. Pacquiao calmly countered, stated his success was due to his hard work and dedication and then began the process of filing a defamation lawsuit. Another piece picked up by Pacquiao as knight took bishop!


Now, Pacquiao is going in for the attack. His promoter, Bob Arum, has given Mayweather until Tuesday to agree to their final terms for a bout under the jurisdiction of the standard Nevada State Athletic Commission rules. Take it or leave it are Maweather’s only options. Pacquiao picks up another piece when his queen takes knight and puts Mayweather in check.
With the clocking now ticking, it’s Mayweather’s move, but there aren’t very many moves left to make.

do u ever think that floyd is just trying to make this fight happen because of the money thats on the table??? If Bob Arum and Pac don't make this fight happen over a couple of blood tests than u seriously have to question pac.... too much money is on the table to not take a couple of tests... if they don't agree to this than we all have to doubt whether pac is using or not.... i would cut off a finger for that kind of money!!!

it's not though--so why would he admit that---coralles was and he dominated him---and pac has you all so fooled---he will be nothing more than target practice for floyd---the smarter fighter--the more skilled fighter--the stronger fighter mentally--pac is finished soon---

He is also putting the sport of boxing in check, the fight against PED's in check, and most of all a nation of fans who want this fight in check but your cool with that. It's funny how you guys were outraged about mayweather not fighting margarito the never was but seem to be fine with the clash of two GREAT fighters fall through. it just vexes me.
