Dude....your not getting it. Manny and his team have said no blood tests for the 30 days prior to the fight. They do not want any blood testing for a full month before fight night.

I get it just fine. Everyone in Manny's camp is saying different things regarding the testing. Arum said what you just said. Freddie, however, said it's fine as long as it's not the day of or day before the fight. I guess it's a matter of who you choose to quote.

Well its still looking like 30 days of not testing according to most of the info that is out there. I can understand superstition or mentally maybe feeling it weakens you, but i can't believe Manny is that mentally weak or superstituous to not allow it 30 days leadin in. 3 or 4 i can understand. Either way in the last week before a fight training is winding down and physical demands in camp are much less.

If Manny consented to random blood testing with a cut off of 2 days before the fight as you say freddie is suggestin this fight woiuld be a done deal already.

EPO and other forms of blood doping are not detected in urine as easily as blood testing, as the synthetic or pharmacological hormone is almost identical to the natural hormone which is also present/excreted through the urine. Blood doping for a boxer makes sense. Ie increase red blood cell production and hence more oxygen can be taken through the muscles = increase endurance.

I wouldn't worry too much. With the money invloved my gut feel says this fight will happen eventually. If not March in Sept.

The way the media is spinning this they're making it seem as if Team Mayweather is backing off their demands for random blood test. When in fact Team Mayweather is saying they don't care who ADMINISTERS the test so as long as the random test are conducted.

Come on, do you really think Floyd will fight Mosley? If he does not fight a historically clean Manny Pacquiao, he will fight a one-time cheater Shane Mosley instead? Nice argument. Floyd has been using Mosley's doping issue recently to avoid a fight with Shane, and his age. If Pac-May does not push through, expect Pac-Mosley to be signed and Floyd can go to England to fight his dream fight against Matthew Hatton.

i guess it is better for GBP to bail out of this negotiation or else they will be charged by pac camp as well on their lawsuit. in fairness, GBP is just relaying floyd camp's demand. instead of having profit for the negotiations, they may loose a lot of money instead, if pac's camp will be favored by the court.

it is really a controversial issue that a lot of boxing fans believe floyd sr's allegations ('am not saying that all these believers are on floyd sr's intellectual level, maybe some). for sure, this roid issue is now damaging pac's reputation and therefore, pacman got a very strong case to win this lawsuit. i've been reading a lot of boxing forums and there are lot of people believe floyd sr.

If floyd could make 40-50 million in this fight I think floyd can sacrifice 20million for 2 lbs in order to gain a big size advantage against pacquiao so that he could be around 165-170lbs at fight night and have atleast 15-20lbs weight advantage.

Floyd has been there for a long time but he has been relatively inactive....


Let me school you on some things....


Floyds first fight @ welter was with Judah. Cotto, Manny etc etc were @ 140 and 130-135 @ the time. Floyds second fight was with the recognised champ in Baldomir, who floyd copped a grilling for not fighting before judah. AS for Margarito he was offered 8mil. He was also offered 8 mil for Baldomir. Same money less risk and the champ. No boxer or their advisers would have chosen MArgarito.....thats just a plain fact.

Third fight was against ODLH. Again no fighter is going to go fight Mosley or Margarito or whomever you say floyd ducked when they can fight the cash cow and make 35 mil in one fight.

Floyd retires/takes a break.

Floyd comes back and fights Hatton. Again same argument as DLH. Who is going to fight Mosley or Cotto when you are being offered Hatton. Another cash cow.

Floyd retires again. 18 months this time.

Floyd takes a tune up against JMM (the man many say beat Manny twice) to position himself to fight another cash cow in Manny Pac. Again look at all the fighters trying to fight Pac.....malignaggi, bradley, foreman....any boxer and their dog wants manny right now...for $$$$$

This is floyds history @ WW. When Manny was moving up he did the same thing as floyd did. As soon as he got the opportunity he fought both Hatton and ODLH. He didn't go and fight Mosley now did he?? Want to know why?? The same reason floyd did......for the $$$$$$$$$$$.

correction, not the public, just the *****s. and try to speak for yourself. the chararcter and reputation of the guy who made the initial accusation is not exactly respectable ( mayweather sr.), who uses and sell drugs. so take it easy. if SR prove that Pacman is dirty, then you can go off as much as you want, until then just stfu. you will see the fight and follow the lawsuit in the future.
