How is 10 mil per pound not fair? If Mayweather never came in 2 pounds over the contracted weight for the Marquez fight, that probably wouldn't have been demanded. It was clear he never intended to make the weight in that fight. The large amount is there to keep Floyd from doing it again. If Mayweather supports these tests so much, why is the Pac fight the first time he's even brought them up? It's so funny how 40 fights into Mayweather's career, all of a sudden the Nevada Commission's testing is not sufficient. Why hasn't Golden Boy required that Mosley go through these kinds of tests since he actually ADMITTED TAKING STEROIDS? Hmm.

so why can't Pac agree to taking the tests the way they
are giving? What's the problem? Especially since Floyd
would be taking them too?

Golden Boy is stressing Manny to take the tests yet he has NEVER tested positive. Mosley ADMITTED to taking steroids. Why is it good for Manny but not for Mosley? You don't have to answer. When someone can provide a CONCRETE link of Manny and steroids, then I will agree with these precautions. But not until then. This is a welterweight fight. Why would either of them be allowed to weigh in above the 147 pound limit? The stipulation applies to both of them. Your whining about something that's a part of boxing. There are weight classes for a reason.

put that much penalty on Floyd to pay for coming over

The reason why Mayweather is demanding the tests is because
obviously there is some talk going on in the Boxing world about
Manny being on something. Mayweather did do Marquez dirty
but Juan still wanted the fight (Not saying it was right) but catch
weights shouldn't even be allowed in Boxing. No one has stressed
Mosley about taking tests.

The penalty is for the both of them. If you were going to make $40 million in one fight, would a $300,000 penalty per pound really deter you from coming in over weight so you'll be stronger for the fight? Of course not. Which is why Mayweather did it against Marquez. If the penalty for murder was probation, there would be a lot more killing going on.

Dude....your not getting it. Manny and his team have said no blood tests for the 30 days prior to the fight. They do not want any blood testing for a full month before fight night.

I can see your point in that aspect. We don't really know what
is the talk or what is going on in the Sport of Boxing inner circle.
It's not like their telling only Manny to take the tests. Floyd is
going to take them too, so it is not accusing him. Oscar De La Hoya
is an ******* because I remember him saying that Manny punches
didn't hurt and now he is saying they did so to me he is not making
this ordeal subside any easier. Mayweather Sr doesn't speak for
Floyd Jr only Ellerbe and Schaeffer is representing him. Manny is
making a big issue out of this when in his passed negotiations he
got everything he wanted. Even in this one he is getting the
majority of things in his favor, so why can't he just agree to
the tests? Ain't nobody trying to hurt his pride because it's
just business.

C'mon man you seem like a logical dude compared to other people on here. Floyd never mentioned steroids and Manny until his pops said something. Go listen to the RA the Rugged Man interview. That was after his father started his slanderous rampage. Go read any little Floyd interview PRIOR to his father mentioning steroids and you'll see that steroids weren't on little Floyd's mind. It's accusatory because he didn't make any of his previous 40 opponents go through this. He's being represented by Golden Boy, who didn't make Mosley go through this, even after TAKING steroids. Golden Boy declined extra testing for Mosley for the Judah fight, saying the Nevada Commission's test were sufficient. What's different now? And what demands are you talking about Manny getting in his favor?
