Most people thought he had no chance of defeating George Foreman, but he wins by KO. There is something su****ious about that, and his other wins as well...

In hindsight, perhaps Big George should have demanded Ali have Olympic-style testing! Ali's other opponents like Frazier should have as well...

Nah idiot, he beat Foreman with ring general ship, experience, and a brilliant game plan.

He didn't go in there and light a fire under the much younger and stronger opponent, in Big George, from bell to bell.

based on the arguments of some of the posters here,

no fighter in history, no matter how perceived as "great" should ever be given any credit whatsoever for their accomplishments cause like manny, none of them have been subjected to USADA tests. therefore, we cannot be sure if they are clean or not.

also, all time lists should be completely ignored and no lists should be made until the "totally flawless" USADA test has been implemented.

floyd will now be automatically be #1 all time pound for pound because it was he and his desire of cleaning up boxing, started this revolution of new-age drug testing which ensures a fair fight for boxers everywhere.

It worked didnt it? Plus Ali was getting off som great punches and combo's. Its not like Foreman was totally beating the crap out of Ali. Ali had his gameplan and Foreman was game for it walked right into Ali's trap. To stand there and stick to your gameplan for all that time getting hit by a bigger stronger man and you were supposed to get KOed yourself. Yea I call that brilliant.
