but the other agency gives mayweather an edge because he already has experience in olympic style testing and the blood being drawn so close to fight night will affect manny more than mayweather cuz manny has no experience with that kind of testing. I take it back actually he does and that's when he lost to morales, because they drew blood from manny so close to fight night and it made him weak and he lost that fight.
Pacquiao:"I have no idea what steroids look like."

See that would hold true for a small athlete in your country. Manny is now on a world stage where there are tons of things offered, he's bigger than your country. Not trying to be disrespectful but we aren't talking about your average athlete here.Comment

How old are you? If you believe that illegal drugs were used all those times in every fight that the Pacman had fought, where millions of eyes were watching, which included world boxing bodies, trainers, sparring partners, onlookers, janitors, you name it, and no one had caught it, then you people are debating the wrong issues. In due time this will all come to pass, anyway, and you would all look like fools. The biggest question is, why change the rules now?
It's clear that Mayweather is having nightmares of seeing himself on the floor after Pacman's devastating left hook.Comment

I'm not accusing him of takin steroids, but seriously. But I don't believe that any athlete near elite level, haven't been offered it in some way...This is a quote from him taken from ESPN.
Doesn't this sound oh so familiar, haven't we heard this before with the steroid problems in baseball? Next he will say I didn't take them knowingly. Manny, you are now in the mainstream media and just denying stuff is not going to hold up, you will have to prove it. Just because you don't know what a steroid or a PED looks like does not mean you are not on them. There is no backing out and if he thinks suing will get the media off his back he is dead wrong. He is going down a very slippery slope, a slope that will kill his creditability until he proves he isn't on the juice.Comment

Oh. that means during the months he stays in the US for training he is secretly juicing himself?? Did you see the past 24/7 HBO series on Pacquiao? With all those 50-man entourage he has, many of those go to sleep with him, wash his clothes and the dishes, etc. Tell me are you also accusing that any one of those 50 men are giving him steroids? Or Ariza? or Roach himself?
The problem with Americans is that Humility, Integrity and Love of Country are not anymore present in many of their Athletes.
Steroids/HGH are all products of American Individualism. Individual excellence is what the media is trying to praise. People who excel in their field of athleticism are being favored than a team effort... That's why soccer football can never be a mainstream american sports. In basketball, only individual efforts seem to satisfy the media, and not the team's shared and unselfish plays. It's always the individual that is given importance. No wonder, many of the younger generation would like to achieve in WHATEVER MEANS POSSIBLE. --Steroids is the best and easiest way to achieve individual recognition and praise from the media (that influences peoples' minds..
In the Philippines, there are so many other concerns to focus on. Poverty is one basic element as to why Pacquiao wants to run as Congressman in their place. Whereas, Pacquiao stays only in the US simply to train, but not to live permanently That's the reason why I don't think he is much influenced by this american individualistic culture that hungers for public recognition and praise----that results to using steroids to maintain that hunger for recognition and praise.
Pacquiao doesn't need all those steroid things for praise and recognition. Only Americans need such PEDs. He simply have to remain humble after all the hard work he went through as poor young boy whose desire is to get his family out of poverty.
That is why Pacquiao can always exhange $40M with his pride and integrity. Only an American individualistic culture will take the $40M in exchange of Pride and Integrity.Last edited by namme; 12-26-2009, 09:30 AM.Comment
