Too many Margarito haters on this site.This thread needs the bump to show that Margarito still has the support of the true boxing fans.


We were around boxing before hbo 24/7,unlike all these other newbs.We know how hard Margarito had to work for everything.Margarito was at his peak and a world champion and nobody else wanted to fight him,not Mosley,not De La Hoya,not Mayorga,not Judah and not Mayweather.


Mosley beating up on Margarito's weight drained,walking corpse proves nothing other than Tony,for the first time in his career became complacent and somewhat over confident having finally earned the recognition that he had deserved for so long.



Margarito shall return and we will see an even more dangerous and driven Margarito than we have done in the past.


I pity the fool who has to step in the ring with this true Mexican warrior.

If Marg just starts fighting good fights again and without the plaster, I see him getting the love of the Mexican people back. I cant help but like the guy because he fought everyone... I know someone is going to say ,"because he loaded his gloves" but whatever. The same for Mayorga. These guys get no respect because they have lost big fights but they are always there to perform for the fans even if they knew they were going to get their asses whooped, they walked in and went to war.

Margarito got crushed in his last fight, and he has no boxing license. He no longer is in the welterweight division, or any division sanctioned in the U.S., and there's nothing you can do about it, thank god.

First of all what happened against Williams and Clotty? If Margarito was always cheating than I guess Williams and Clotty are supermen who are impervious to plaster. You can't have it both ways because he was either cheating in all his fights or just cheated in one.
