Other Athletes that sued for slander and defamation

Im just wondering what your argument actually is? Some sports stars have not been successful with lawsuits hence Pac automatically wont?
Am I getting that right?Comment

This is too easy guys. Stop trying to be technical with me and just discuss the question at hand. All of you are looking foolish right about now. Discuss the thread and don't get technical because it will only backfire just like what happened to the above athletes when they tried to sue for slander and defamation.Comment

It doesn't look bad. None of those athletes had a case. Mosley was affiliated with Balco. He was caught. He was just too stubborn to admit it, much like Marion Jones, who if I'm not mistaken is serving time for perjury.
The baseball players had no testing system. They had never even had urine tests.Comment

I asked a question though, which is different from predicting that Pacquiao will suffer the same fate as the above mentioned in the OP.
Do you think this case will backfire and worsen things for the Pacman?Comment

Do you watch baseball?Comment

Who knows? We'll have to see....
Was that really worth starting a thread over?Comment

Urine tests have been a part of baseball for a while. But urine tests do not do not detect the advanced drugs of this era. Blood tests do that, either that or the players are snitched in something called "The Blacklist". Which leads them to try and defend themselves and sue for "slander" and "defamation" or make it easier for themselves and admit to using banned drugs.Comment

Suing will clear Pac's name and stop these malcontents from ruining his name even more. And he has all the proof he needs to win the case in court. He has passed all mandatory tests required by state boxing commissions he was in. Yet even in the absence of proof, they have directly and through insinuations publicly accused him of using PEDs/steroids.
This is totally separate from the fight in the ring, of course, but is just as important. You have spent half your life to get to where you are, and damn if anybody tries to trample on your name when you don't deserve it.Comment
