I knew some took 3-4 days but hours? Wow! This makes Pacquiao look worse by refusing to take random drug tests and asking to take them before training camp and after the fight.

****** anyone hear that? that's the sound of another door SLAMMING IN THE *******S FACES!! ..oh lord every time they think they've got their argument settled it gets torn apart within hours!! , i can't believe how many hits Pac has taken recently, the guy has been absolutely battered in the press and it's only gonna get worse for him until he proves to the public that he's not a roid head, good luck Roiduiao

i dont think the problem is they think hes using DURING THE FIGHT
as hes willing to take test b4 n after the fight
plus conte just said they can clear up in hours so he knows hed b clean for the day of the fight
they want random test during trainin camp
whered itd b more of an advantage to use anythin
to get more out of his body then he otherwise would without usin

Interesting article. Conte identifies EPO as the most "advantageous" PED for boxers (for training and for the later rounds of a boxing match) when most PEDs mentioned around here are steroids and HGH. Kinda shocked that any boxer will even go near Conte now ("recently" mentioned in the article) and that Marion Jones and Tim Montgomery beat USADA testing before.

I root for Pac in this fight but I want the fight to happen first and foremost. It appears that Conte is commenting on the news that Arum wants a test at the presser and the after the fight, that is why he stresses the need for random unannounced testing. I recently saw the news conference of Pac himself stating that he does not want to give blood (but urine ok, I am not too sure now) on the day of the fight. If Pac is ok with random and unannounced testing up to the day of the fight and any test starting from the end of the fight, wouldn't that be good enough?

I presume we all want to see the fight ...

BTW, I kinda suspect that this whole issue may just be PR for a fight that will actually still take place

I don't think Jesus himself could get out of this one. Good luck Pac.

Of course not. Nobody is using roids during the fight. Roids are only used in training camp. When a fighter get busted after the fight is because they messed up during training camp and wasn't able to get everything out of the system come fight night.

I thought they were ok with the random testing, they just didnt want it too close to the fight. That should be a good enough compromise, starting to take stuff a few days before the fight isnt going to help much anyway.
