Its sounds a bit rough, wow if you have 2 hours to spare all you do is lash on a bit of cream and then off you go..... LOL, its all getting a bit out of hand here, i dont know what to believe anymore

I was watching a rerun of Gladiator last night. You know, that Russel Crowe movie where he is stabbed moments before the fight to hand an advantage to the emperor?

          ***** move.

For now, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but walking away from over 50 million dollars because he doesn't like needles is enough to change my mind.
It is not about the needles. He has given blood before. The reasons are the following.

Timing of the test may interfere with rest or training.

Tests close to the fight may potentially drain the fighter's energy
            and pre-fight rituals.

Pride: Manny and Mayweather are fighting for advantages.

Pacquiao lost to Morales after providing blood samples.

If Lance Armstrong can take a test just before a huge mountain stage in The Tour De France surely Pac can do it while training for a fight?

Mayweather will be subject to the exact same regimen so he shouldn't make it an issue.

              • so is andre ward a steroid user since he has worked with victor conte & balco?

this is what i dont understand, there is no evidence, no bloody guazes, no hgh raids, no grand jury testimony, no balco or steroid connection to pacquiao yet a ex convict former crack ******* dealer accuses someone & they ask for a test that has never been asked in professional boxing is now branded a cheater.

                smh.

Ward (and Chambers) is just ****** for electing to be associated with the convicted crimanal Conte.

Nobody (or at least not the serious posters) is accusing Pac of anything. Personally I'm all for more testing in boxing and starting of with this big fight will set a good example for lesser fights to follow.

maybe its because pro boxers are really not required to take tour de france-type and olympics tests?

should they be required? someone should pass a law first abolishing the mandate of state athletic commissions to test for doping and establish a federal agency to handle the issue.

make it a blanket test for ALL pro boxers to undertake random tests all year round and stop singling out pacquiao by trying to punish him for his success.

see my previous post. make it a law first requiring a blanket random testing for everyone, without pacquiao being used as cannon fodder for mayweather's caprice.
