Gatti - Ward was just about boxing, it was never personal. With EM and MAB it was about how Mexico isn't big enough for both of them. i really like what m00ks said on the other thread how there never is a clean war, and these 3 fights were a war. Gatti and Ward are buddies now and have nothing but admiration for each other's heart, which is the way it should be, but i can't see things going much different had things gone the other way in the case of EM and MAB. Arturo Gatti never talked trash about Ward on tv before they fought, there's just real bad blood between EM and MAB and probably always will be. i think Morales doesn't hate Barrera because of the fights, or probably even because of the fouls, but because MAB dissed him so much on national tv and talked about him like he was monkey.

The only good thing about these fights were that they weren't like Gatti-Ward with all the bull**** hugging and touching gloves. These two hated each other and that's what made the event worth watching. I'm glad they didn't start making out after it was over like Gatti did with Ward...

So true! I just meant that it would be nice if they had walked away with some mutual respect for one another...not necessairly be buddies, but give each other credit cause on their own theyre both fun to watch, but with each other they dynamite!

Respect his abilities, chin, determination, dedication during training, heart, control and much more. Fouls? No. That seems to be the focal point here, right. Everybody making a federal case out of me saying I dont like fouls? Which is why I answered you.

gotta admit, though, if MAB faces Pac again, i wouldn't be surprised if Pac does win again, but maybe not as lopsided as the first one. After the first fight, i started wondering if Pac just has Barrera's number, MAB's style doesn't do well against big punchers who are faster than him

Actually Barrera went up to shake Morales hand before the decision.
