Not so much as Barrera was done, I never thought that. I just always believed Morales was better. Wtf peopel HAD REASON TO THINK THAT. Anyweyz, thats what makes boxing great. It's unpredictability. Heck I was happy Barrera proved me wrong, shows the beauty of the sport.

Thats ok...I always liked Barrera too! One of the hardest things I've had to do was watch them fight the first time; kinda like watching Holyfield vs. Lewis...I love them both. I wanted Morales to win this mainly cause I still believe he won the 2nd bout; and I did think he would win it. I only had a problem with the fouls and did lose some respect for him cause of them. He did fight like the 'old' Barrera last night, that's for sure. If he had done that without the fouls (or atleast some of them) then I wouldnt have had anything negative to say about him today. If people will go back and read my posts, they will see that I didnt put him down for him performance per say; but for his behavior....big difference.

i understand, you'd rather see Barrera put on a good show w/o the fouls... but i can't talk **** about Barrera for fouling, because do it too, but unintentionally. i'd be hypocrite if i blasted Barrera for all low blows and rabbit punches, BUT SOMEONE ELSE CAN. all i can say is FOULS ARE BAD KIDS, DON'T COMMIT THEM

Exactly....I'm sorry, some can say that the rabbit punches werent deliberate, but they need to tell that to the thousands in attendance last night since they boo'd him for it. I'm serious, if that wasnt intentional, then I dont know intentional. I just couldnt believe it took Bayless so long to put a stop to it...several blows landed before he forced him to stop punching him on accident. I'm not talking about an occasional rabbit punch; I'm talking about the time where Barrera had ahold of him and punched him there like 4 or 5 times in a row I know and understand that they hate each other, but Morales didnt pull that crap with him. And considering that Barrera not only sucker punched him during the press conference (they even replayed that last night too and it was the first time I'd seen it) but he trash talked him just as much, if not more, than Erik has him in the past. Asking that man to shake his hand after all that would be like asking him to not breathe. NO WAY

i like Barrera and I WOULDN'T SHAKE HIS HAND AFTER IF HE DID ALL ThAT **** TO ME. Morales isn;t a sore loser, i don't think he'll EVER forgive Barrera for all the doggin', the fouls, etc., but most of us wouldn't either

I wish they could have ended up like Gatti-Ward, but thats not gonna happen obviously. It does make me wonder if the decision had gone the other way, would Barrera have shaken Morales' hand (assuming Erik offered) and / or would he offer still to shake Morales' hand. Confusing enough??
