After KT won he just echoed the words of Judah, winner take all.

I thought the stoppage was a bit premature, in a fight like that you give Judah an eight count before you make any kind of decision on weather a fighter can continue or not. Had Nady gave Zab an eight count Zab would have been ready too fight on.

Now, in retrospect if the fight would have continued Zab would have either lost a UD because he was running scared the rest of the fight or he would have been brutalized and embarrassed far worse than he already was, I tend to think the latter would have happened.

In a way the 2nd round controversey saved Zab from taking a far worse pounding.

Can anyone on this site imagine Zab Judah winning a give and take brawl/war??????
great points, I think Zab would have never become undisputed welter champ if the fight with Tszyu had continued, because Tszyu woulda ruined Zab 4 life

      hmm

Zab had too much quickness to be ruined by Tszyu in that fight. He really hurt Tszyu in the first round and could have won the fight. Nady should have given an 8 count. Judah tried to get up too quickly but he should still have been given an 8 count. Tszyu's win is legit but not without controversy. There was no evidence based on one punch that Tszyu would have brutalized Judah for the remainder of the fight.

In a rematch I favor Tszyu, for the record. Judah has lost focus in his career.

So Judah doing his best impersonation of Afrikka Bambatta's back-up dancers wasn't enough evidence for you?

When I wateched the fight the very first time I too thought Zab had hurt Zoo in the first round but watching that fight many times over the years it is plainly obvious that Zoo was never really hurt by Zab in the first.

Zab had a great round for sure but he was not even close to cracking the KT armor.

If KT was landing pinpoint right hands in the second round (by the way it wasn't just one right hand, watch the fight again) he was going to be landing them as long as the fight lasted. If that fight would have continued and Zab had any hopes of winning he would have had to take a hell of a beating to pull it off, just like Vince Phillips did.

the question remains can anyone see Zab Judah winning a give and take brawl/war? If you can't like me then there is no way that Zab would/could beat a guy like KT.

Great points, Zab is not a give-and-take fighter. Especially with someone like Kosta giving out.

Zab would have been seriously hurt had that fight gone on past the 2nd. There is no question about taht.

Judah won the first round against Zoo, he just got caught with a big right hand at the 2nd round that knocked his ass out, followed by a chicken dance. I would really like to see what happens if they ever have a rematch.

Watch the fight over very closely, in particular the first round...Judah comes out like a houseafire and then something happens....

Kt hits Zab with a couple of big right hands that don't land very cleanly but they are thrown at very close range just before the two men are to hold each other(you must watch this part over a few times).

After this point Zab basically never throws a meaningful punch the rest of the fight. He took the last minute of the round off(and I mean he didn't even throw a ****ing punch) and then did absolutely nothing in the second round.

All of this inactivity from a guy who was smoking KT for the first minute and a half of the fight...what happened?

He tasted Zoo and got the **** out of there, thats what happened...we have all been there before, maybe not in the ring rather with a chick you are going down on and when you finally reached the promised land you realize it smells like your arm pits....you don't stick around you get the **** out of there....this is exactly what Super did!

that might have been the most disturbing, yet effective, analogy i've ever seen on this site, great job my friend...

you make an awesome point, Zab just stopped fighting and Kostya never lost focus
