Unless the words.. "Manny Pacquiao is on steroids." not stated as opinion, but as fact has been repeatedly coming out of the Mayweather's or GBP, I don't see how Team Pac have a case. I really don't. Honest to goodness. Blood testing requests don't = slander. Harassment? Maybe.

      Maybe.
Yes, they should include harassment as well.

If the result of Team Mayweather's actions are proven to have tarnished Pacquiao's name then they have slandered him. It doesn't have to be as black and white as "You're Juicin'." Schaefer himself said a clean fighter shouldn't be treated like a cheater.

No. Manny brought that on himself for not being more vocal on his position about the random testing. Turns out he has no problem with it really other than it being done on the day of the fight. The American media has tore into Pac as a result (our sports people don't like anyone who even looks like they might be doping). Hard to pin that on Big Floyd alone when everyone is watching how these negotiations are going.

Does American Media eat dopers for breakfast? Yes. Will a reasonable court be able to determine that Team Mayweather's actions directly resulted in the slandering of Pacquiao's name? Yes. 92% so far agrees Pac has a case. You can argue the media magnified it but it certainly all started with Team May.

Good luck on Team Pac proving their case. They have to prove the Mayweather's and GBP committed slander against Manny. Not actions from them resulting in slander by others. It doesn't work like that.

If anything, Manny would have a better case against Jr. himself with that RA interview. It looks like slander was definitely committed there.

You have to prove it. You have to prove they engaged in slander themselves. The periphery has no bearing. What the media posts as a result of the balking at blood tests has nothing to do with this. It's not enough.

As far as I can see it, only Floyd Jr. would be on the hook. This case will be thrown out for directing it at the wrong parties.
