the first 2 weren't disappointments. Even the title of this thread don't make sense. If you truly believe a fighter is over-hyped, their losses shouldn't have been "disappointments" but rather expected.

The next serious opponent the overrated wonder Judah faces will KO his goofy looking ass, and KO him good and put him into short retirement. Keep fighting the Cosme Rivera's of the world Zab you know thats the only type of fighter you can beat. Cosme Rivera is like 24-7. Any half way decent boxer with some power will KO Judah. I will bet anbody that Judah will lose within in his next 3 fights.Comment

yeah but if you look at it in retrospect,for example you might not think a figher is overhyped at the time, but after he loses a couple and is exposed you then realize that you were wrong and believed the hype instead of making your own decisionOriginally posted by m00ksComment

Man After the two bouts with Six heads and with Vernon Forrest this guy appeared to be the exception to all of the boxing rules.
It was apparent that he had no real boxing skils beside his wild power and his granite chin yet agaisnt a very skilled champion in Vernon it did not seem to matter.
I was expecting a lot out of Mayo, with his wild reckless style he was attracting a lot of novice fans to the sport.
Well he then then fought Corey Spinks and he laid a complete egg...even though you can make a case he won that fight and was probably jobbed on a knockdown or two from the ref.
He then was overweight and had too settle for Eric Mitchel and again he laid an egg, what was going on?
Granted he gave the fans a fun fight too watch agaqinst Tito but he also showed just how ****ing ****** he is...there were many rounds where MAyo was doing very well for 2 minutes or even 2 and a half minutes..then he would get tagged and get macho and leave his chin out there for Tito to wale a way on....Again it was a great fight too watch but it just showed that this guy has no brain!
In the end Mayo will always be worth the price of admission but he could have done better had he only been given a brain to go along with that chin of his.Comment
