OVER HYPED Fighters: fighters who dissapointed you recently

MANNY PACQUIAO- what the hell!! everytime he backed morales up or had him hurt he stopped? this is not the pacman that we know! every other fight of his even the agapito fight he was a freaking warrior . I believe something was wrong and they need to stop blaming people and blame his personal trainer for OVERTRAINING him and leaving his fight in the gym.plus he needed to keep going at the body the rule when the guy has a powerful chin the best way to knock him down is through the body the soft spot.

KERMIT CINTRON- let us just hope the reason he lost was because his big frame cannot handle 147 pounds anymore, I think he should move up to 154 or 160 and give that a shot the guy has massive shoulders but seems he lost his power after that hand surgery and a 9 month layoff and i bet he did not even jog every morning when he was off might be a reason for his lack of stamina in the ring, he had surgery on his hand he might have not been able to box but he should have did road work every morning and shadowboxed while recovering and keeping a good fighting weight for those 9 months instead of blowing up in weight and cutting it last minute.

MIKE ANCHONDO- What can I say opposite case of pacquiao this guy was undertrained looked like he wanted to go to bed he still has a pretty decent chin just like cintron, but he went down do to dehydration maybe or lack of stamina ie mayorga. This guy really dissappointed cause he would be so confident but looked like a zombie in the ring. coming in at 134 and losing the belt at weigh in is crazy the kid is only 5 foot 5 i dont think he would be devastating at 135 or 140 especially for his height.

Sugar Shane Mosley-weak performance he could have easily knocked out estrada why didnt he keep going to the body?

Ishe Smith-losing a 5 round fight? all credit to sergio mora but ishe's got no damn heart! all the talent in the world cannot make up for a incredible heart and will, ishe looked like he was more worried about the people in the house playing games with him then his oppenent at hand.

This isn't as big a name as most on your list but Edner Cherry looked awful against Quiles after being built up for so many months by ESPN.

^cherry has a weak chin, they built around his story. I still believe he will not last amongst the top lightweights people with some impressive power.

They did, but it looked like more than just a chin problem against Quiles. Can't remember all the details of the fight (had a few drinks that night I believe ) but I can't even remember him connecting much, plus Quiles just toyed with him most of the time.

^alot of these fighters need to be more alert in the ring, you can tell by the look on a fighters face if there confident or worried, look at margaritos face he looked so relaxed and loose and then cintron looked like he wasnt there bad case of nerves maybe. Just like pacman he looked worried and something was bugging him.

Michael Grant has been a huge bust, but people will usually forget about Grant because Vlad Klitschko has been a much bigger bust....

I thought Dom Guinn could be a poor-man's Evander, but damn I was wrong....

            Golota, need I say more....

On the flip-side, John Ruiz and Chris Byrd have been over-acheiving for a few years now, Don King is still afraid to pair the 2 together but they've both had better than average success under the DKP banner

Chris Byrd sucks, he is the king of gift descisions, and biased commentary in his favor.
Most overhyped figher without a doubt is Zab Judah. I dont care if he has the belts at welterweight he got them from beating Corey Spinks, and Corey Spinks is not that good. He cant hit with any hardness whatsoever. Corey Spinks was another overhyped fighter because he carries the Spinix name.

Byrd got 1 gift, vs. Oquendo, the others recently were toss-ups....

Zab is the undisputed champ, if that makes you over-rated then heck over-rate me too!

The fight with Golota was not a toss up at all, the commentary was so biased against Golota on Kingvision, it was the worst promoton I had ever seen. Golota won 8 rounds to 4 on Ron Borges scorecard, Lewis' scorecard and any non blind person's scorecard. Dont question me on this I just the piece of **** biased production last night. Never will order a Kingvision produced pay-per-view ever again.
