The odd thing about this entire argument is that none of the Pac worshippers who are raising hell about this and calling Mayweather everything except a child of God over this issue would have a problem with it if Pac had agreed to take the tests as requested. None of the objections that have been raised wouuld have been mentioned. NOT one of these objections were raised two weeks ago when thes tests were ORIGINALLY mentioned as part of the contract talks. Now, that Pac is refusing, it is suddenly a bad idea. This tells me that the Pac worshippers on this site are not capable of thinking for themselves and will accept anything that Pac, Arum or Roach say as gospel, regardless of whether it is fair or makes sense.

Perfect post above in regards to the typical Manny fan. They don't know **** about boxing and would root or pick Pac regardless of who he fought. Keep waiting for WAPACMAN to come out on DVD and leave the rational agurments to the grown ups.

This article makes more sense than anything I have read on this subject. One of the things you can be sure of is that the French were testing Armstrong often during those seven years that he won the Tour De France and it didn't keep him from winning -- since he was clean.

All of you who say Pac should refuse the test or shouldn't have to prove anything to Mayweather have a good point. He can walk away, just like I or anyone else on this site can walk away from an employer who demands a drug test before we go to work for them. However, just like we have to agree to the test if we want a job, he has no choice but to accept Mayweather's terms if he wants to walk away with $40 million for one night of work. And, considering that both Arum and Golden Boy Promotions get a share of every one of his purses, hei is a lot better off splitting $40 million than the $3 million he would get fighting Malignaggi or Yuri Foreman.

I just want you all to remember that according to Ariza PAC doesn´t know what he gives him!??...it´s worst every day...So how can PAC say he´s clean, just because he passes the same tests that SSM??!!, with no random test or blood tests...he may beleive so, BUT REALITY IS HE DOESN´T KNOW WHAT HE TAKES!

Some of these drugs can make one impervious to pain. Ever heard of "pain killers", "novacaine". You dont know if any drug or steriod can make ones chin withstand strong punches. Lets go back to the Pryor vs Arguello first fight. It was suspected that Pryor may have had something illegal in that bottle in his corner, why was it suspected? Because Pryor was able to walk through alot of those punches that Arguello landed on him that would have knocked out any of fighter in his weight class at the time. Now that fight took place over 25 years ago, wouldnt you think that with all this bio-technology that there could be a drug out there right now that could help someone take a good punch without it knocking ones equilibrium off to prevent one from being knocked unconscious?

what you guys seem to forget/ignore is that even with all the testing Lance goes through, there entire countries convinced he's a doper. No matter what kind of testing an athlete goes through there will always be haters.

If I am Pacquiao

If I am Pacquiao, I too would rather not take the fight. Granted that it might be considered as one of the greatest fights in history but his legacy too is also at stake here. I would rather not have that fight with a messed up psychological preparedness in the ring and give my opponent the unnecessary edge. If I know i'm clean why should I get myself being bullied by some punks. Forget about the biggest paycheck I would ever get, I've got millions already anyway. Taking that fight because of the money alone means getting greedy. Sometimes people still believe in the word "integrity" even though a lot of people no longer believes that value. Boxing is different than cycling in a way that the former is one against one while the latter is a lot of athletes competing for the top place. If the fight does not happen, we can just conclude that sometimes things are not meant to be...

Respectively saying this, but Armstrong never got hit back by guys twice his size. When someone shows me when this testing has been done in the last Century, is when i take this seriously. The Differnce between Armstrong and PacMan is that every single Participant in the Tour De France was subjected to the same rules as Lance. We all know now that Armstrong was singled out because of his accomplishments, by the French, and was subjected to More tests than anyone in the World. But should we Put Manny thru That because the Gayweathers are Scared to fight him, when NOt ONe Single Boxer in the World is subjected to that kind of testing. The smartest point I've read posted in this thread is that they should do hair strand DNA on Pac. That is comprehensive forensics and can't be faked. They should do one right now to show everything he has taken in atleast the last 6 months. Then if (when)it is negative Pac team can say O.K. enough of this, none of his past fights are in question, lets do 1 blood test 5 days before the fight and one directly after the fight. No more B.S. Period. Then, LETS GET IT ON!
