Zab Judah is letting the whole undisputed champion thing go to his head. He could very well turn out like the previous welterweight champions (Mosley, Lewis , Forrest , Mayorga , Spinks) whose reign did not last very long. I'd love to see Judah against Margarito, i think margaritos power would catch judah off guard. Shane isnt the monster he used to be, I think that Judah would beat him by decision.
Judah has a lot to say about ESPN PPV...Kermit "the quitter" Chingone

Bahaha! This cracked me up.Originally posted by scapSpinks is a decent fighter but when you start talking about undisputed champs Corey Spinks becomes a bum.
Oh yeah, talk is cheap - lets see the fights Zab. There's nothing worse than a shadow champ who hides behind his belts and doesnt defend them.Comment

Already said I didnt get to see it (kid was sick) but from what I read his corner threw in the towel after a total of 4 knockdowns. I may change my opinion after viewing it of course, but as of now I still like to believe that with him being so young he can and will bounce back from this.Originally posted by scapSure they all lose one eventually but Cintron did not even belong in the same ring as Antonio and this was supposed to be a u pickem fight going in.
I agree with you that you can't be too hard on Kermit but then again lets be realistic for a moment...you said you don't think he will be down very long, well it depends upon what you mean by that.
If you mean that he is going to be knocking around fringe contenders than I would certainly agree with you, but if you think he becomes a legit champion anytime soon (meaning next 3 or 4 years) than I think you need to watch the effort he gave on Saturday one more time.
It wasn't as bad as Mike Anchondo's performance but it was pretty piss poor, Kermit still may be a good fighter but he is most likely not the fighter many including myself hoped he would be, he could have lost and things could have been viewed much differently...however it was the way he lost that concerns people...he fought like he had no heart beat...he fought like Mike Anchondo and that is unacceptable I don't care who you are in the ring with.Comment

He was really only knocked down once from a punch. The second time he was lunging forward and he fell, the third one he took a knee after a little combo, and the fourth time he just fell backwards on his own. Also after the 4th knockdown Cintron just kept looking towards his corner, he really didn't try to stay up or fight back at all.Originally posted by tracyleeAlready said I didnt get to see it (kid was sick) but from what I read his corner threw in the towel after a total of 4 knockdowns. Damn, sounds bad. I almost dont want to see it, but I need to just to try and get a 'fix' on what was going on with him. This was a major fight for him, and a hugh step upward...so to not even try to fight back just doesnt make sense. I realize he may not have been ready for Margarito..simple as that, but it sounds like there was something else (mental maybe) going on as well.Originally posted by adrsan84He was really only knocked down once from a punch. Juda is just ducking Margarito because he knows he wont stand achanceagainst him. And Margarito is way better than Mosely thats why mosely refused the 1.1 million dollars he was offered to fight Margarito. Mosely said it himself that he is not ready to take on margarito. Antonio Margarito is the best 147lb fighter and he will take on Oscar de la Hoya, Mosely or Juda but they r all scared to fight him
so they duck him.Last edited by Gonzalo; 04-26-2005, 10:56 PM.Comment

I don't belive Margarito is one dimensional.Even if he was 1 dimensional he is too tall and long for Zab Judah. Kostya Tszyu is one dimentional and he knocked out zab Judah in the second round. It only takes a one dimensional fighter to beat Judah.Comment

i think judah is still immature. fools around a little too much. decent skills and speed and power but need to be more serious. i think his training would suffer because he is too ****yComment
