Would your opinion of Ricky Hatton change if....

He beats Marquez, Dominates Khan and latter UD's Bradley? Reason being is that most think he is a garbage fighter. I actually think he is a very good boxer, just not Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao good.

I think alot of people will be shocked at how Ricky dominates Marquez. Hatton has more power at that weight, his foot speed is light years ahead of marquez and he is alot stronger fighter. Marquez has the timing and boxing skills but he is slower at 135 and looks like **** at 140.

He should get the benefit of the doubt since he's only really lost big in only two fights.

But if get's knocked out again....

Yeah, that'd redeem him a long way - especially if he dispatched of Bradley, which would be absolutely shocking. However, he'd still have a somewhat tainted record because he couldn't beat the best in Mayweather and Pacquiao. As a result, he'd end up as a 'nearly man'.

Right now, he's nearly the nearly man if that makes sense...

I don't even consider that Mayweather fight a bad lost. That was a close fight in which I had Ricky winning until he got dominated in the 8th and stopped in the 10th. So that was only 2 bad rounds outta 10 against a top 10 fighter of all time.

Well considering he been knocked out by the best Mayweather and was knocked out by a cheat i think his resume is pretty good without winning these fights.
