tua was close in his prime!

Tua is his prime would be a champion today but at 37 I don't think he has it still.cameron & ahunanya are good fights to rebuild on.tua could get a shot just by his name.I remember in the 90's when most guys fought each other & earned their shots.it's pathetic that a guy like kevin Johnson gets a title shot.tua got 1 shot vs lennox & blew it by being out of shape.he never got a shot again.he lost an eliminator to chris Byrd & drew with Rahman in there second fight.Rahman who got the shot went on to beat lennox.tua fought ruiz(2 time champ),undefeated darrol Wilson(17-0-2),a war with David izon(18-1),oleg maskaev(1 title),lost to one ibeabuchi(16-0),Rahman(2time champ),gate keeper obed Sullivan.tell me he wasn't ready.he was out of shape & lost to lennox.he was close but Tyson,Holyfield, lennox were there getting the big fights....kevin Johnson beats Devon Vargas & a couple done names.it's easy to get a title shot.that's why ruiz & guys from the 90's still get big fights.they earned it fighting each other.today povetkin especially but chambers is fighting good guys too.most of the guys now basically get a title shot when they beat Barrett the 2000 gatekeeper much Sullivan in the 90's.in the 90's Sullivan was a stay busy fight for the top guys.so many trash toney, ruiz,Rahman, tua, maskaev.these guys fought each other & haven't been phased out because there is no one.

I just think guys fought way better competition in the 90's to get a shot.there were alot of great fights in the 90's.it wasn't easy & guys had to get in line for a shot at lennox,Tyson,Holyfield. In tua's prime he has no chance vs vitali but a good shot vs wlad.my opinion only!

Yeah, the comp was 10x better back then and the Klits would have to work for all there wins.

vitali is the best today & I believe would knockout wladimir if they fought.vitali is going to the hall of fame but his 2 fights vs champions of the 90's (Byrd & lennox were losses.wladimir klitschko stepped up in a wbo defence(not recognized as a world title then)vs corrie sanders(big puncher in the 90's,fringe contender at best)he got knockout in 2 rounds.wlad beats sanders he's got a title shot vs lewis but instead he couldn't get off the canvas to beat sanders.title shot gone.....a few years prior Rahman fought corrie sanders & got dropped twice,he was able come back & knockout sanders...his next fight he knockout lennox to win the title...wlads best wins are vs Byrd(twice)& Rahman(although rahman is shot).his win vs mccline,& Botha were other key wins in his career.
