    How did Shane Mosley look?

I told everyone that there is no way that Shane and Oscar would come down at 147 and dominate. I said that they would have a hard time beating Zab, Margarito, Mayorga, Spinks, and the top guys from 140. Most disagreed and said that Oscar and Shane would dominate

I didnt see the fight on ESPN so how did he look. Estrada is solid and it sounds like Shane did good but I think the young Shane wouldve ran through this guy and KO him in 5. He said in the pre fight interviews that even if he hurt him he would try to make the fight last longer, so was that the reason or did Shane just not look the same anymore?

Shane has not been the same to me since his 2nd fight with DLH and the 2 losses to Forrest..he seems to have gone away from the fast punching Shane I remmember in the 1st Oscar fight..his hands were like pistons. I dont know if he will ever be the same but I still think he can do very well at 147..But I dont think he could be DLH..I thought DLH won the 2nd fight..I think Shane with maybe 2 more fights at 147 can give Zab a run for his money.., I think he could beat Margarito, Spinx, and maybe Mayorga..not to sure..Mayorga got a lot of heart and if he catched Shane with one of those wild blows..its could be and early night for Shane.

Mosley is in an interesting position. Too me, I think he's a great fighter that's been too ambitious.

The qualities that made him such a tremendous fighter at 135, was the effect his shots had on smaller men. His speed and accuracy made him deadly.

When he skipped right over 140 to take aim at Delahoya, it was good and bad. His first big win over Oscar brought him immediate fame and money.

But then he's the man at Welterweight, and goes in trying to hurt welterweights like he did Super Lightweights. This caught up with him, and the way he fought at 147 and 154 against the best fighters there, and did it flat footed, was remarkable on its own.

He never took the easy way out, and when at 154 with a title, pushed to fight Wright, who was largly avoided. He lost twice, but I thought he was respectable in the 2nd fight.

That left him with a record of 1-4 with 1 no contest in his last 6 fights coming into the Estrada fight.

I thought, that against a solid agressive hungry top ten Welterweight, Shane clearly won the majority of the rounds
even though Estrada pushed on relentlessly. He (Estrada) made every round a difficult round to fight even though a lot of them were easy to score for Shane. Estrada is a durable guy and would give any welterweight a spirited and tough fight.

Shane got ten rounds in and came away with a clear win.

Definatly good for him. He reminded me in the fight (although he abandoned it too much) that he's one of the most violent body punchers in the sport.

Shane will still be a tough fight for anyone at 147 if he puts it all together.

Its also unlikely that we'll see Shanve vs Oscar 3, as Mosley mentioned he has an option to fight under Golden Boy Promotions now.

shane did'nt look the same to me. i thought it made him look kinda bad that he could'nt finish a lower class fighter like estrada. when shane would attack like his old self he did really well and hurt estrada but he only showed it in spurts. his new trainer has got him playing alot more defence which i think takes away from shane's best abilities. he still has his skill but he just did'nt look very impressive the other night

mosley still dont let those hands go like he used to. he doesnt really fire combos anymore. just one shot at a time. the pre-forrest version of mosley wouldve had estrada out of there in 6 rounds. he would hurt the guy with one shot, then pot shot him. no combos or anything. this guy has not been the same since vernon took off his head and he never will be .

I think you guys are taking too much away from Estrada.

I don't think any of the other top Welterweights would have stopped or beat him anymore convincinly.

He's a tough durable guy, and Shane clearly outpointed him.

i gotta disagree, estrada is at best a c class fighter. the old lightweight and welterweight shane would have tore estrada apart in less than 5 rounds. mosley use to be a monster on offence, he's just not showing that anymore
